  • @alecboi84

    30

  • @Pacedawg 76' no?

  • Anyone else agree that this is quite possibly the best song ever created?

  • All I think about now when I hear this song is that scene in Law Abiding Citizen with Gerard Butler. LOL, great song, though!

  • This will forever remind me of grand theft auto san andreas.

  • coolest song thanx for the lyrics

  • Just an awesome song, by an awesome band! "The Who"

  • 1st heard this song on Miami Vice back in the day. It plays in the beginning of the "Killshot" episode. I loved it ever since and today I just found it who made it. Thanks for posting this!

  • too much white powder... don't let him get that powder in his nose!!

  • this was just on the weather channel! my fave who song!!

  • I always thought they were saying, 'we plan on living in funk' or 'it's unlimited fun'

  • Crazy, I thought it might have been Gabriel too. It's very much his style. Townshend is a genius. This is one powerful classic.

  • Guess who just watched a guy take a t-bone to the throat?

  • @kprice1403 some prisioners?

  • Perfect song for weather channels.

  • @nanaooda lol that is true

  • I played GTA San Andreas also but I think this song was a perfect fit for the film Law Abiding Citizen. Does being an elected official make you a God? Who makes sure they don't get out of line like they "protect" us from ourselves? Balance of power my ass.

  • good song but not there best stuff im affraid

  • i remember the days i heard it first... Somewhere 2005. I always thought it would say " It's an ele-elephant!" Lol... Wait? Oh, god... I'm spamming again... Forgive me!

  • I always thought it said Livin' in tha Funk! Then I heard it was about white power instead of white powder! haw!

  • When I was younger, I always thought this song said "Livin' in a butt!' when the chorus part comes up.

  • THIS TRACK IS AND HAS ALWAYS BEEN: OUTTA-SIGHT!!

  • I love to play this song after work , driving through the busy streets of downtown

  • *Quickly stabs dislikers in their necks with a steak bone while blasting this song.*

  • @ehill1536 That reference doesn't work, he stabbed the guy while a different song was playing.

  • @ehill1536 hahahahahahahahahah!!!

  • @ehill1536 I don't get it (:

  • You would think some rap band has sampled this by now(the main melody) but I don't think that's happened yet. Anyway, great song.

  • @MrMikej413 Glad they haven't. Nobody can do this like The Who!

  • @MrMikej413 . It's crazy I was thinking that same thing myself. I like the Who but I never knew they made this. Awesome song

  • @tripslft Only The Who of course!! I didn't know for years. I finally just had to look it up. One of the greatest intros ever!

  • I'm liking all the random annotations. Very well put together badgerbuddy.

  • I never knew that about this song, thanks, very interesting and makes a lot of sense

  • Lets' all wish the Youtube operators a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year for creating such an awesome website.......

  • Should be a companion piece to Genesis' Abacab.......

  • <3 ed naritation and facts :)

  • From so many good Who songs they picked the shittiest one. Why didn't they put My Generation in GTA SA, or Won't Get Fooled Again

  • @OtadzbinaiKrv you my good sir are an idiot

  • LAW ABIDING CITIZEN

  • This was also featured in an episode of Miami Vice series three. I just heard it last night when I was watching it on dvd. Thanks for uploading this song.

  • @koulanie73 I did the same pal. Nothing like 80s vice

  • Awesome sound on this vid, Badgerbuddy!

  • insuperabili oltrepassando i + 30 anni

  • ...finish what you start...

  • This song ROX, I knew an older band did it but I didn't know who? I just heard it on The Weather Channel, and was going nuts trying to figure out which band it was. When I get my new MP3 player I will have to download the song, because it's tough and KICKS ASS :D. This song has the 1980's written all over it, totally BAD ASS ;).

    -Kris-

  • A do it in the butt!... A do it in the butt, Come On!

  • Dallas Mavericks all the way!! ;-;

  • splenditamente splendita !

  • This song has a special meaning to me...it's a masterpiece for me <3

  • the mafia rolls to hits cigars lit in big white caddys and this blaring,..

  • newt gingrich good word

  • Rock on bitch's whoa!!!!

  • Great song and never heard of them before!

  • Brings back memories of GTA SA =)

  • A popular New York City disc jockey swears a listener called in requesting this song when it was new. The listener thought it was called "Living In The Bronx". I am not joking. I love Pete Townshend's atmospheric playing on this song.

  • I recognised this song watching The Weather Channel, but had no clue it was The Who... Thought it was sang by someone like Alan Parsons Project(dont kill me) or Dire Straits or something lol and thought it said "Livin in a front" LOL Clever choice for the weather channel :D

  • Elite psychopaths are hollow no-substance disgusting abusers.

Common people forget how they are horribly abused by them. Elite abusers disappear back into hiding before their very eyes, hidden in plain view.

EL-ites are pagan throwbacks to the Dark Ages, and all that it is, is a put on.

  • This song is still wow.. I mean wow... great song out of this world wow :D

  • and then silence...

  • sitting in jail eating a huge steak waiting....

  • The the only proplem I see here is that I can't play this any louder

  • 51 people weren't invited to the party because they weren't dressed to kill.

  • This song is deeper than the poster’s text amplification states.

Townshend is saying that the elite sociopaths are hollow no-substance disgusting abusers, that common people forget how they are abused by them, and elite abusers disappear back into hiding before their very eyes.

EL-ites are pagan throwbacks to the Dark Ages, and all it is, is a put on.

  • @centurion180ad very profound

  • Thumb's Up,

How many people after Watching this song whent to This

    /watch?v=TAgg5OvCWFo After.

  • Anyone wanna play amateur psychologist and tell me why people get so defensive when talking about covers and original scores!? It's really quite bizarre!

Anyway, love this..can't believe such low amount of views!

  • Where the fuck are the lyrics by the way???

  • @robertdevald turn your annotations on

  • @badgerbuddy Oh, yeah, sorry, I missed that. It must have been very hard to put all these annotations, wouldn't it be easier if you would've just made it in the video?

  • @robertdevald yeah it would have been easier, but i thought of adding the lyrics after i uploaded it

  • @badgerbuddy Yeah, there is not THAT many variation in the lyrics...

  • @robertdevald REALLY! i did not come here to be indoctrinated by the channel's owner's interpretation. SUX

  • @cottonceena OK your opinion

  • You're on... The dust! K-DST for life, San Andreas for life, Grove for life!

  • @robertdevald how about.. fuck off, you retarded fan boy. hows that :)

nah im just playing... its an awesome game i play it every day :P! EVERY DAY!!! o.0

  • Was I the only dumb ass who thought Peter Gabriel sang this?

  • @Ur2ez4me81 Peter Gabriel? haha seriously? nah i won't judge, but seriously, i don't hear much resemblance to him

  • @badgerbuddy before I found your video & found out the who made this song seriously thought it was Gab but oh well thanks for the upload =)

  • @badgerbuddy , check out games without frontiers and youll see what he means. lol

  • @badgerbuddy -Thanks for posting one of the best songs by The Who!

  • @Ur2ez4me81 me, too!!! haha..he and Townsend have similar voices, I guess...

  • @PlasticBox1212 yeah they do a bit...

  • @Ur2ez4me81 well, yeah, - maybe someone else did, somewhere. But this was the THE big hit off this album when it came out. Got a lot of radio airplay. Everybody knew this was the Who.

  • @procrastinator66 yeah guess this one slipped by me =)

  • @Ur2ez4me81 No, you're not the only dumbass who thought this was Peter Gabriel. It took me forever to find this song because I thought it was Peter Gabriel. When I did eventually find it, and it's by The Who, I thought "what a dumbass!!"

  • @firecracker3685 makes me feel a bit better i guess...good tune.

  • @Ur2ez4me81 Sounds like it could be a Peter Gabriel song. Sounds more like something he'd do than it does The Who.

  • @Ur2ez4me81 i thought the reason this song was a big deal was because pete townshend stepped up to the vocals in the first place?

    Im surprised

  • @Ur2ez4me81 nah man, I seriously thought this was Peter Gabriel, it´s just his style i guess...

  • @slimmboy85 Right on..I even listen to classic who & had no idea.

  • @Ur2ez4me81 - I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that Peter Gabriel sang this ; ) LOL!!!

  • @Ur2ez4me81 Who cares if you thought it was Peter Gabriel! It's one of the best songs EVER!! I listen to this song almost every day!

  • @71252annie yeah it is a great tune, from listening to classic "the who" to this I would have never known...peace & love.

  • Thumbs up if you came here for the music, and not the commentary ;)

  • who cares if a video game, a movie, a cd, the radio, an LP, a tv show, or sports brought you here. the fact of the matter is, that we are all here now enjoying this great tune. so lets all shut our mouths, and let The Who take it away

  • @badgerbuddy the who ?!

  • thumbs up if facebook brought you here

  • Why bash a game because it introduced a new audience to music not heard now a days seriously not everyone was born in your time frame.

  • thumbs up if your a hipster that thinks your so cool because san andreas didnt bring you here is more like it. Gosh, you guys are so cool, i wish i was as cool as you hipsters that were into things before anyone else. soo kooo

  • So I suppose if I don't share this with you, you're gonna- I'm gonna get the fuck up, I'm gonna cock back my right hand, and I'm gonna split your whole fucking skull in two. How about that? Well, come on over here. Join me. There's plenty to go around. Here, enjoy. Have some pasta. It's good. What about some steak? You want steak? - Mmm. - Here, have some steak. Here's a big piece for you. hahahahahaha LAW ABIDING CITIZEN

  • MY GRANDPA'S IPOD BROUGHT ME HERE!

  • I first heard this song on the radio and bought the CD the next day (before MP3 people, don't judge). I love The Who.

  • law abiding citizen

  • @AzTeccX good scene

  • i think of Tony Montana when i listen to this song.

  • man, puits me in whole different realm-meltting

  • Doesn't this song speak the truth!! What awsome lyrics and an awsome piece of music!!!!!!!

  • fuck san andreas.. pay attention to the song

  • @tranceenzo I say, if it exposes people to this, who normally wouldnt listen to it, thats good. But it is annoying to hear "OH HEY THIS IS OFF THAT VIDEO GAME" when in actuality it came long before it.

  • when I eat my cellmate, I listen to this song. Then I cut my steak with his thigh bone

  • I'm a telemarketer and i called Gerard Butler once it was awesome

  • Watch the film 'Law Abiding Citizen' and you'll know why he ate steak in prison. It's a good film too so worth watching anyway.

  • Could anyone PLEASE determine what kind of bass was used at 02:42? It sounds amazing :D

  • Why is there four minutes of silence after the song ends? Am I the only one who notices? O_o

  • @cowboxe no your the only one who continued to listen after the song was over

  • Amazing! Why are there any dislikes?

  • weather channel brought me here

  • ABC Line of Fire two part finale opening.

  • IS THIS YOU?????????????????????????

  • I am here not because of GTA but because I'm awesome

  • the song was featured in the first episode in the first season of HBO's Entourage

  • Wow they mentions Stephan Bonnar using this as his entrance theme. How about Dan Henderson, he used this loooong before Bonnar was ever thought of...

  • Its funny that the says a lot of weather channels use this as background.. That's actually where I first heard it lmao. I thought it sounded so cool I called my dad up and held the phone up to the TV so he could tell me who and what song this was!

  • @RandomHeroeEric Don't worry. He's probably still stuck fighting rival gangs in Los Santos. Can't get to Las Venturas without raising his Wanted Level.

  • @RandomHeroeEric: I know exactly what u mean mate. Me too, good old times, with Sweet, Big smoke and the whole stuff;P nice game, old memories, still got it:)

  • I love this song so much, and have been strung out, and missed out on so many years of my life......before I sobered up I listened to it, and realized it was about being sick on powders.......So glad to be back from death row....so thankful for music....

  • Indeed the best song from The Who.

  • @ @FuckThisShit422: You don't know what the hell you're talking about.

  • However... this song is phenomal, over and above all words. Eminence Front.

  • Let's make one thing clear... Boxing and UFC are NOT the same thing. I don't usually get defensive about stupid errors in videos like this.. but BOXING is an art form, a science, a way of life. Contrary to UFC, which is a pick-up habit, anybody's game, the unskilled boxer's boxing. Flame me if you will, but a true boxer will understand.

  • @FuckThisShit422 i totally agree because of its very long tradition boxing produces athletes at the peek of their physical and technical form....UFC and MMA are far from that

  • @FuckThisShit422

Put any MMA fighter in the ring with a pro boxer. 9 times out of 10. The boxer is going to wreck the MMA fighter. Boxers also have better stamina. UFC is 3 to 5, 5 minute rounds. while boxing is 12, 3 minute rounds. James Toney is a perfect example. He was beat in a fight by Randy Couture by submission.. But Randy could never go 12 rounds with Toney IMO. 90% of UFC/MMA fighers in my opinion can't win a fight with out taking it the the floor. i know ill get shit for this. idc

  • @huzza09 Boxers are one dimensional. MMA fighters have a much wider arsenal.

Sometimes simplicity is best, other times it's complicity.

Putting one fighter in the other's game is terrible for comparisons. So, there really is no way to compare the two without it becoming purely opinion based "No, you're wrong"ism.

  • @LBRofWu a lot of mma fighters are also trained in boxing aswell i did mma for 2 years along with boxing and i have to tell you boxing is a lot more tiring but boxing can be an mma fighters main weapon if he wants. my suggestion is you try the sports before you start giving your verdicts on them because watching fight videos on youtube doesnt give you an expertise in either departments

  • Best ever, I agree completely... I can't tell you how many times I got laid to that song!!! YOUR BUDDY OL' PAL, NOTORIOUS B.I.L.L.

  • this is textbook classic "who"... how does it now sound like them? its the synthesizer at its best

  • I have been seaching for this song for so long. it really doesnt sound like The Who

  • so fucking underrated

  • For my money, Kenny's best performance with The Who. It captures his strength -- straight ahead, solid playing. The snap of the snare in the studio version of the song was never captured in subsequent shows and really gives this a unique sound.

And John? Fuggetaboudit! Having Jones keep a steady rhythm freed him up to play off and all around the structure of the song. He really tears it up on this!

Oh, and the other two guys are pretty good too. ;o)

  • ...i remember the pony parties...

  • When I eat steak I listen to this song, then I kill my cellmate with my steak bone

  • @LibertyCityMayhem95 No kidding! I had never heard this song before, and after watching the movie for the trillionth time, I checked the credits until I found song titles. Then I had to cross reference with iTunes. I think they put this song on the soundtrack because it sounds like something Clyde would listen to when he put together one of his "kill people" inventions.

  • @TheShrekstuntdouble I was overthinking their choice of the song way too much, I was thinking the concept of the Eminence Front depicted the perspective of those in the criminal justice system, specifically the judges, like the one in the movie, and I quote: "The benefit of being a judge, Mr Rice, I can pretty much do whatever I want".

  • @LibertyCityMayhem95 You want to know something, I haven't heard this song until that movie came out and that scene of that movie. That scene made me want to find out who sang this song, real talk lol.

  • @cemstunna Yeah, even though I'm significantly more interested in older music than others in my age group (I'm 15) I hadn't actually heard this one until I watched Law Abiding Citizen :P
