  • Even if Fables Of The Reconstruction (1985) is a little flat album, R.E.M. could still rock! Proof with this gem!

  • Way to shield the hated heat.

  • hey whats all this federation of the rotary club nonsense ? aliens spaliens daliens back in vogue or something.?

its the music ,thats all !!

  • @ralphcraddock Thanks ralph, I don't know how in hell he got there. High wierdness I suspect.

  • haha God i haven't heard this in forever!

  • @HeyThatDude1 Glad you enjoyed it Dude.

  • I think they just evolved into something different. It was time to move on. This is still a great song though.

  • Does anyone find the top comment sort of ironic considering REM broke up a few months ago?

  • I know everyone seemed to dislike Fables, but I really loved it. Driver 8, Old Man Kensey, Feeling Gravity's Pull, it was an album where you could really feel the band's emotions, even if it was a bad time for them.

  • @jonboyjon1976 Thanks jonboyjon, I agree with you. For me the only bad records they did came after Bill Berry quit. Even their last effort wasn't as good as the with Berry days. Sad but at least they had the balls to call it quits while they were still relatively good. I love this band, hell, it's my favorite band of all times. Screw the Beatles, The Stones, etc.

  • @Circumpunk I liked up good album,Alligator was a good song

  • @legandrydirk Thank you dirk.

  • @legandrydirk Think how hard it would have been to make that album, with out the guy that was with them right from the start. And they still pulled it off,Daysleeper was another good song off the album. If fact they were all good.

  • @legandrydirk I just listened to Alligator for the first time. Thank you for introducing me to it.

You are speaking of Bill Berry the drummer. Yes, it must have been difficult to make more albums without him.

  • @Circumpunk Want to know something funny? Some nut jobs on the net, think Michael Stipe is a reptillian shape shifter,LOL.Maybe it had to do with that song

  • @legandrydirk Hahahahahaha!!! I just talked with a guy here about the New World order. The world is full of nut jobs. I guess anyone successful in life is a reptillian. Not me, I'm a loser....hahahaha!

  • @Circumpunk I am sad enough to watch there video though.Thinking what the hell am I meant to be looking out for here? And there is nothing there that looks dodgy.Aparently the royal familly are reptillians as well.

  • @legandrydirk I don't know why anyone thinks that the Royals are aliens. I've read the material about it but don't see any science in the science fiction. That is to say some people lie. I think the shape-shifter crowd are liars, looking to profit from gossip.

  • @Circumpunk I believe in extra terrstials and have saw UFO,s.I am near a hot spot in Scotland, not the famous Bonnybridge. But one on the Ayrshire coast a lot.So there is defo something up there.I keep a open mind, and dont believe we would be the only beings that a supreme being or a God would create.Ever watch the show about this subject on the history channel?I got the DVD,s about it.And it was really interesting, they tried to de bunk it all with science. And were down in Redlesham forrest

  • @legandrydirk I don't doubt the possibility of extra terrestrial life. I would be a fool to count out the mathematical possibility. I also have firm religious beliefs. I just don't think we are being manipulated by aliens in the way these reptillian believers suggest. I mean, if they are smart enough to get here why not just take over entirely centuries ago and put us all in the salt mines together without humanoid representation? Who needs democracy when you have phasers? ; ))

  • @Circumpunk Cos there will be a federation, and they will be keeping the evil ones at bay.Who would do that to humanity. Some say that Hitler had a pact with the grays. And this is why there on earth. As they got asked bye Hitler, and they gave him the lie he would win the war.And they got to use the slaves,to test out reproduction with to make a clone.I know it all sounds a bit X Philes, but sometimes the truth can be stranger than fiction.I like the idea, that we are protected at least from above.

  • @legandrydirk I think I've had enough of this conversation thanks.

  • @Circumpunk Fair enough but they also have a interest in nuclear weapons.Plenty off sightings have been over military bases.I dont think they want us humans to destroy our selfs.CHEERIO then

  • @jonboyjon1976

I million % agree with you!

  • cover art for this rules.

  • This is such an underrated song by REM. Sure they can make good tunes now, but with Bill Berry they were near unstoppable. They'll never make music as good as this ever again.

  • where are the lyrics?

  • @GregDrayGregDray Click on the "Show More" arrow at the bottom of the info section.

  • Ah, the Classic early R.E.M. They haven't done much since selling their souls to Warner Bros. Still better than most of the crap out today, but nothing as good as this!

  • @stevepwood I see we are in complete agreement. Thanks for your comment.

  • @stevepwood 'sold their souls to warner bros'

    lost you there

  • No matter what,, this music will be ringing for many moons

  • @visionfirst1970 Thanks, I agree.
