And i like older Lego Sets than newer Lego Sets.

what I don't like about the newer ones, is that the new sets are sometimes based upon a license.

Well when I make some space that is exactly what I intend on doing. I am going to make a massive LEGO train and MONORAIL layout with very select buildings from TOWN PLAN and some of the better LARGE detailed building models... One of these days... I was 2 when they came out with these sets. The first lego set I got was a big Star Wars AT-TE. I built all the ideas. I have a lot of accounts, but I am SRAnimations.

Actually when I did get the set in THOSE too pieces were missing. I pulled the dynamite from another set for the main presentation. The buyer substituted a BLACK chalice for a YELLOW one. That works for me as I am not a purist and collector but rather A BUILDER. If I was a collector it may be a problem. I will routinely get older sets with missing pieces and MAKE THEM RIGHT when they come in - so as to have a complete presentation... Bill

getting incomplete sets are often an advantage since you can get discounts and some money back XD do you ever get a crazy idea to build a set and buy all parts individually?

Actually I did. I thought of packaging up my MICRO CHRISTMAS TRAIN as a kit. You can see it in all of my videos below my LIGHTCAST a behind my ROBOT. It is my own design. It is a way cool model and would make a neat kit. I just have never done it... Thanks for the interesting question!!! BTW - I'm still trying to get a "good deal" on that shuttle set!!! HA HA!!! I generally just do not get the set if I do not get a great deal... Bill

Well the IDEAS from the ADENTURES - WOLFPACK and ORIENT EXPEDITION sets are stunning. This is the period from 1998 - 2003.... Today you really don't get many IDEAS if any... Bill
