the part where Yuna's voice actor says that she wants gamer to get lost into the story, like feel as if you were there, instantly i said "damn right, i freakin cried in the game (about 3 times too, i've played the game 3 times and that same part that makes me cry, always makes me cry =p) and i did feel like i was in the game...FFX was amazing.

And i know its tea-dus, but too late, i've been saying tie-dus since the first time i played xD (2+ years ago)

"I think we can consider the game a success if no one gets stressed"-- then they should have taken out that bs chocobo racing game for Tidus' ultimate weapon, or at least made it unnecessary to unlock the full potential of the weapon. And yeah, pretty sure Tidus is pronounced "Tye-dus" in English. It's a play on the word "Tide", like water-- Tidus, Squall, Cloud all have weather themes, get it? Yeah...

actually, Nomura came up with the name Tidus because "Tiida" is the Okinawan word for "sun". and "Yuna" is the Okinawan word for "moon". there are a lot of Okinawan aspects to the game including clothes, setting, and music. Nobuo Uematsu actually composed the "Suteki Da Ne" in Okinawa and had the Okinawan singer Rikki sing it.

The Japanese have a hard time pronouncing American long vowels. So, pronouncing the name as Tide-us would have been hard on the voice actors.

no, in japanese, the syllables base off of, a i u e and o. the i like an e, so its teedus. the e in japan is like an eh sound.

I think there are diffrent songs for disffrent interviews. The song played during the interviews with Tidus and Yuna voice actors is called ''Macalania Forest''
