The tubes on the lane sides are 4" solid yellow field tile. You can find black tile just about anywhere. By the way asbar23, the only thing that has beat my slash 4x4 was a sc8e and that was in a 12 minute main by .4 of a second.
I have not really counted the cost because I own an excavating company and did all the work myself. I had dirt on hand from job site work. I guess I have $300 in pipe and $300 in spike. The drivers stand is old pallet racking I got for free and the steps I made out of lumber $200. But dont get me wrong there is a lot of work to get an outdoor track in this condition.I have to say if this was a job I would bid it at about $5000.00. Hope this helps.
Hi, this is my track and I have an sc10 and a 4x4 slash. I believe a 10.5 in the sc10 is perfect and in the right hands could keep up with the 4x4 but would not beat it. I love the 4x4 and look forward to racen it out doors this summer!
i have a stock sc10 but i want to keep up with my friends. the all have the new slash 4x4 with the traxxas brushless system. what motor should i use??? im thinking the mamba 5500kv
