  • Niggar

  • haha thats awsome! me and my catcher did that all the time when the ump was being shitty towards us..

  • That's why he is wearing a helmet and mask

  • The catcher shouldn't being playing baseball,to me is a real unsportsmanlike conduct. It was clear that is a delivered action by the catcher.

  • it happens all the time in baseball...not i big deal

  • i kno why he hit the umpire, its because the umpire was making bad calls for that team so they tried to hit him in the face so he can make bad calls for the other team

  • That happens all the time...

  • This is what happens when the ump isn't calling the game fair.

  • @mjwizardsfan there no excsue to hit the umpire in teh face with teh ball. no excsue. play the game

  • hêy_ânY0NÉ_wÀnÑà_chát_wïth_mè_Í_fêel_sõ_lÔÑêlÿ_tÕDây┐

  • @SesyayJeanay65 Are you a Nigger?

  • creeper in the window

  • what the heck was the catcher thinking?

  • @Zilla2251 Catcher got crossed up

  • @AntPalm8 That is not a cross up. Getting crossed up - you still watch the ball. This was done with intent to send the umpire a message. If umpire knew the game of baseball and could read the game, he would have dumped the pitcher, catcher and head coach.

  • it looks like it was on purpose, but why would you be that retarded and decide to do that, ok your angry at him so you give up a base and put a guy on 3rd...thats just stupid im sorry

  • If they did this on purpose then they are seriously retarded. I mean I guess you could do it with no one on but there was a man on 2nd and they let him get to 3rd by doing this.

  • The breaking ball that never broke..

  • If it's a State Championship game and your dumb enough to pull that shit!!!! ha

  • haha totally a purpose pitch...i play in college myself and we have done this a time or two before!

  • I go to SCHS, which is the team that was playing defense. The reason the Ump got hit was he was making shit calls. Yes, im pretty sure it WAS intentional. After listening to some of my friends that played on the baseball team, the story that they said sounds like it was intentional. The Ump has been making calls in the other teams favor just as jeffuryca said. The game was unfair, and i believe the ump deserved to get hit, and he got what he deserved.

  • i would have fuckin tossed that peice of shit pitcher and the catcher

  • If you idiots would just watch, it clearly bounced off of the batters helmet.

  • @justinsmoney Well, this idiot didn't see the batter take his base, so guessing that it DIDN'T hit the batters helmet. I am just an idiot though, so what do I know.

  • @justinsmoney i really hope you're kidding when you say this SMH

  • @justinsmoney i dont get if this is suppose to be a joke or what but if its not youre retarded

  • he was probably make some bad calls and they decided to hurt him in a stupid not sneaky way

  • Haha that catchers a retard

  • The ONLY explanation on this is it was done on purpose. Catchers don't duck. They catch and use their whole bodies to block if necessary. The pitcher was beaming the ump. I think that is funny.

  • @jeffuryca wasn't on purpose there was a guy on base.. if there wasn't a guy on my base that woulda been a different story.

  • What if they were behind a bunch of runs & the umpire has been making a lot of calls in the other teams favor so the pitcher & catcher were sick of it & decided the game was over anyway & just beem the Ump, which BTW is supposedly the story I head on this particular pitch. I played catcher for many years. You NEVER duck, EVER. Why would you? It is your job to block the ball. That is why you have the gear on. You do drills to make you immune to worring about getting hit with a ball. Planned, 100%

  • @jeffuryca that's exactly why

  • @jeffuryca he didnt duck he got in blocking position...

  • @cfl990 One word: Moron!

  • @jeffuryca fuck you dumbass they were trying to make it not be obvious that they let it go wanted ut to be an "accident" by looking lke they got crossed up why the fuck do you think he went into near perfect blocking position you dumb fuck learn the fucking game homo

  • @cfl990 1st off, I am not gay so take your homoerotic advances somewhere they will be welcomed so you can get laid. You badly need it. 2nd, I played catcher for only about 8 years & attended training camps for it including one where Brian Downing was my catching coach during the time he was catching for the Anaheim Angels. I also trained with the Angels batting coach, so maybe you are right. Maybe I should learn the game a little better. I have no idea what I am look at.

    One last word: MORON!!

  • @jeffuryca congrats dumbass ar you truly arguing that he didnt get into blocking position are you watching and again congrats ive worked with tom seibert a pro scout since 94 and ex hitting/catching coach of seattly mariners for i beleive 3 years or so so i dont give a damn aboiut your credentials he clearly went to a blocking position dropping to both knees glove between the legs head down slightly hunched over quite simple really

  • @cfl990 No you ARE ARGUING WITH ME over a lame point. Now add you are flat out lying about "working" with a Seatlle scout otherwise you would clearly understand the basics of being a catcher. You do NOT go to BLOCKING POSITION when the ball is flying high only when you expect it to hit the ground & you NEVER take your eye off the ball & duck EVER! You might also want to Google this video & read the story behind it hopelessly behind & thinking he was purposely making bad calls against them MORON!

  • @cfl990 well you can beleive me or not he is now team illinois coach and coaching cod juco and thats where im from and play sooo whatever but the story is they beleive the ump was making bad calls on purpose se they wanted payback but to try and make it look like an accident he wanted them to think it was a cross up so he went into a blocking position to make it look llike he thought it was going to be a curve and thought it was going to hit the dirt to make it look like an accident

  • Should have been ejected

  • I love this. I sure hope the pitcher did not get his scholarship revoked. He should have been given a medal.

  • @pitbull103 You are a fucking dumbass.

  • @postjewism You wouldn't say that to my face, but you are extremely brave sitting behind your keyboard. The fact is that you are a pathetic coward. Fight on, keyboard warrior. Well done!

  • @pitbull103 Correction. I WOULD say that to you're face, and you have proven that indeed you are a dumbass. Keep it up.

  • @postjewism I don't believe you, and it is you who are once again demonstrating your cowardice. Or is it your brave keyboard battling? You are quite the tough guy when it involves typing.

  • @pitbull103 Haha. That's about all there is to say.

  • @pitbull103 And you are literally to stupid to insult.

  • This was done on purpose in the Georgia state championship game. The pitcher was upset over the calls and the team batting was up by a big margain. I believe his brother was the Shortstop and had been called out looking twice in the game. The pitcher had his college scholarship revoked after the game.

  • lol funny but thats the catchers fault lol.

  • haha, i wish i could do that to some of the umpires that call our highschool games.

well it wasnt a dead ball, the batter didnt get hit maxphi, u can clearly tell because if u zoom in one, and two after he watches it hit the umpire he holds his left hand up to hold the runner after advancing.

so it was done on purpose, its pretty cleaver idea haha.

  • Its wierd... the catcher went up for the catch then just went down... though the catcher may have been expecting something else he was really close to catching the ball then he... ducked O_o

  • watch the video the pitcher hits the batter which makes it a dead ball if it was on purpose which it could have been it is still a dead ball runners go back which is what i assume the 3rd base ump was walking in for

  • ump probably made alot of bad calls

  • niggers

  • that is called a good old fashion "fly by," it happens when a pitcher thinks that he is being squeezed or feels like the umpire has been screwing up in some way... it can also be done by a pitch out

  • maybe the catcher called like a curveball but the pitcher threw a fastball, so the catcher thought the ball was going to drop

  • yeah, 2 is curve in highscool and he didnt see the catch call the 2 but the pitch wasnt looking at the catcher, because the pitch was looking at the runner when he threw down the 2. he threw a fastball the catcher acted like it was a curve and brought his glove down and the fastball nailed the ump. :P

  • Either the umpire made a few bad calls or the catcher called curveball and the pitcher threw a fastball and the catcher got crossed up.

  • i agree with staygabomb but i think the catcher got 'crossed up' on purpose

  • If you look at the catcher's glove it looks like he was expecting a totally different pitch. He looks like he was ready to catch something, just not what was thrown.

  • Why did the catcher duck?

  • thats what happens when an ump is being a little bitch and fuckin up the game for u!!! good job!

  • Yeah because baseball is life and it's ok to be a crying asshat when an umpire doesn't do what you want all the time.

  • u fucking dumbass he was calling a bad game thts why it hit the umpire!!!

  • im sure you sit the bench on that team of yours faggot

  • it hit the batters helmet DUHHHH LOOK AT IT

  • if the ball hit the batter's helmet then the steal at third could not have happened. if the ball did strike the batter's helmet then play would've been stopped and the batter would've been given first base and the runner on second would've been forced to stay there. dumbass

  • hey retard open ur eyes and notice it hits him.... we dont know what happens later.. dont u see the 3rd base umpire asking for timeout.. fagget i saw this game

  • well as a pitcher sometimes it just helps with the stress factor. IF you know what your doing. if you can hit the umpires so called "strike zone" it doesnt matter how many times you hit him. now if your control is off, clearly your not getting the corners.

  • The ball hit batter's helmet -ricochets and catcher drops. Likely no malicious intent.

If the ball never hit batter's helmet and the catcher dropped like that then maybe malicious intent.

  • guys thats a typical play these days. im a pitcher and i know what that was. its called a wake up pitch. the catcher "misses" the ball and it conveniently hits the umpire who probably was making bad calls. ive done it. funny shit cause alot of times the umpire knows.

  • i can't imagine that would help you... to piss off the ump. a great way to widen your strike zone when you are batting.

  • I thought someone was going to get hit by a bitch.

  • I wondered why the baseball kept getting bigger. Then it hit me.

  • the umpire is three times the size of the strike zone. a good pitcher can hit the ump most of the time if the catcher lets the ball pass. And that's what happened here.

  • It was a dumb thing to do. It cost the catcher in the long run. One of the colleges looking at him took away his offer after this happened

  • whats his name?

  • yeah the ump obviously was pissing the team off. it happens. i've seen it happen in one of my games

  • yeah i know but the ump always makes the right call

  • i ump and i hav been hit in the face b 4 it shakes you up quite a bit but not that fast

  • He slipped, you can see it :015

  • fuck zebras and blues, the ump probably deserved it. This is the most obvious "act like we got the signs mixed up" play i've seen. Does anyone know if this is the kid who got his scholarship rescinded by the Bulldogs?

  • what the hell is tha catcher doing?

  • it was obviously planned dude its not that hard to understand, the ump was prolly givin some bullshit calls throughout the game so they just threw a cheap shot at him, ive done this before exept where i hit him he didnt have any padding so i got thrown out lol

  • that cather is a retard

  • hahahahaha

  • Either he slipped or did it on purpose, if it was on purpose it was done well as a revenge shot to the ump.

  • 0:15 is so fail lol

  • funnies thing i've ever seen. The catcher didn't just miss the ball, he did it on purpose. Obviously the pitcher and catcher worked out a plan to get revenge for some of them crappy calls lol

  • well that was rude.

  • wow the catcher sucks.....

  • you suck the catcher sucks.. brow the sign might be mixed up and it was a shot at the ump doucebag

  • dude ive never auctully talked to sum1 thats been this pissed over a computer comment u need to put ur pads on and stop bitchin

  • dude i just saw your mom at home depot and she ran over the whole island in the parking lot

  • when will umpires and officials realize that when they stop squeezing players and blowing calls that this kind of thing won't happen. I have umped for baseball and reffed in soccer and called the games with no ego in mind and never had a problem. I would like to see more professionals do this kind of thing, it would tell officials to call the games fair

  • This is HS first of all, not professional, and how the hell do you know if he was calling it fair or not, I cant imagine you've "umped" or as umpires say worked so many games when A. You think HS is professional, and B. You've obviously never had anyone disagree when you make the right call or you wouldn't have such a stupid opinion. That's a person who dedicates much of his free time to teaching kids how to play the game the right way behind that mask. Give me a break.

  • i didn't say that i never had people disagree with me, what i said was that i didn't have a problem like kids throwing at me. the pitcher and catcher wouldn't have done this unless they thought they were getting squeezed in the first place, it would be nice if you would have thought of that. and when did i say that i thought HS was professional? what i said was that it would be nice to professionals do this, they can afford a suspension on the salaries they get paid. teach kids correctly

  • I honestly can't believe someone who claims to umpire could have such a horseshit opinion. Learn a thing or two about the job or get out. Go ref volleyball, you're bad for our image.

  • wtf is the point of this? i umpire some games and it doesnt hurt at all getting hit in the mask, those things have a shitload of padding

  • the point is that the catcher intentionally gets out of the way so that the pitch can hit the ump in the face. the catcher actually drops to his knees and ducks.

  • i know that, but why would he do that if it wont hurt him, you should miss the ones going for lower

  • i didnt know catchers and pitchers make secret signs just for hitting the umpire...rofl

  • ha as a catcher i no what its like to be crossed up...you dont drop to your knee's and act like your blocking a ball...look where the pitch was...it was high even if he called a curveball it would have dropped to the knees at the lowest, not the dirt, it was def on purpose

  • It was intentional. Look at the where the pitcher is looking. Right at the umpire. This happened to me once in a semi pro league. Real bush league players. Both should be ejects and then the coach when he comes out to complain.

  • okay, but why would the pitcher hit the umpire??

  • Because the players were poor sports. Maybe they sucked so bad that was the first target hit all day. Anyway, who knows what they were thinking? It is a "bush league" play that shows that they will never go any higher in a league.

  • what a fuckin retarded catcher.

if i was the umpire i would have kicked that fucking douchebag in the back of the head

  • IDK I would say this was on purpose, I have been umpiring baseball for 8 years now. I would have thrown the catcher out. No catcher gets that crossed up im sorry this is ridiculous!

  • u guys r all idiots, he wasnt afraid of the ball, he ducked on purpose so it would hit the ump. they were mad at him because of the calls

  • No, your wrong. What happened was that the catcher called a different pitch than the one that was thrown and he got crossed up.

  • nope your wrong bud, he did it on purpose no catcher is that retarded

  • Do you even watch baseball? This happens a lot. For example when a catcher calls for a curve he expects a lower velocity and an arc, but when he gets a straight fastball he isn't expecting it and can't adjust in time. If you were ever a catcher you would know that but you don't have that experience. Also if he did it on purpose then why did the pitcher wince when it hit the ump? If they meant to do it both the catcher and pitcher would know about it.

  • @Emunchkinman ya, he was going down to "block the ball" to pretend that he thought it was a curveball coming

  • ya, pretty sure they should get a new catcher, one who isnt afraid of the ball.

  • either the catcher is a fucking idiot or they have no respect for the game of baseball...

  • You honestly thought the catcher would let the baserunner advance just to let the pitch hit him?

  • i dont care if he made a bad call earlier, respect the game. thats a disgrace.

  • hehehe

  • he prob made a bad call on the catcher b4

  • hhahaha I bet he deserved it

  • lol, what the hell was the catcher doing? xD

  • wow that catchers a retard...ur not supposed to duck down that far, otherwise its waaaay to obvious

  • I am an umpire in that group; the kids did it on purpose and the team was fined.

any one who does such as this should never be allowed to play baseball again. It makes a mockery of the game.

  • oh yeah? I WAS the umpire, and I say bring it on punks. The metal cage on my face will protect me everytime.

  • this is the second reason why this is so stupid; we wear a steel cage over our faces! it doesnt hurt at all to get hit there.

you want to hurt and ump? foul tip to the hand is about the only way. ofcource, you cant really tip it where you want to like that...

  • so why did they hit the umpire @ aetheraswiftwater.

  • they were losing and instead of taking it like men that the other team was better than they were, they took it like little boys and blamed the umpires. so, to get back at the 'evil' umps they hit one with a pitch on purpose.

they should all be banned from play forever!

  • i remember this, they did it on pupose :), and my team did it b4 lol

  • You all are dumb... this was done on purpose... the catcher lost his scholarship due to this... a catcher does not drop down that much before the pitch

  • that happens all the time awe shit his mask is he ok...watever

  • that ump got punk'd!

  • arent u supposed to catch the ball?

  • imteanoimal

  • thats retarded i see that all the time in my baseball league

  • they got their signals crossed. The catcher was looking for a sinker, the pitcher threw a pitch with no break (fastball?)

The catcher played a sinker perfectly, beautiful block with his glove in position. No other explanation.

  • actually that was a pretty bad attempt at a block. HIs glove was the last thing down, which is the opposite of what you want to do cuz what if the ball doesn't bounce like you think it will and goes between your legs, then you look f***ing retarted. plus he shouldn't have gone down immediatly in the first place. he needs to be able to anticipate the pitch better and not jumps to blocking too early, otherwise this exact occurence will happen.

  • that was pathetic. I dont give a fuck what you called. you react to the ball not what you expect. you don't drop your head becuz u called a sinker. what happens when he throws a high sinker. i wuda been a pretty pissed of ump if that happened.

  • your both wrong, looks like the old duck move, when there team doesn't like some of the calls

  • lmfao, thats what i was thinking first. he prob did

  • You're fuckin' retarded. The Pitcher or Catcher didn't like some of the calls that the Ump was makin', so the pulled the ole Different Pitch trick, I call it all the time when I catch or pitch.

  • you guy dont know anything about baseball

  • this happens all the time why does it have so many views

  • shut the fuck up

  • what do u think...

  • ha the retarded catcher ducked..

  • stupid catcher

  • if it was on purpose why don't you try throwing something harder than a 45 mph. Puss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • because it was supposed to look like a wild curve tard

  • that was intentional

  • We actually went over this scenario last night in an umpire's meeting. We were told that if you believe it is intentional (probably with help from the field umpire) you dump the catcher, the pitcher and the manager. The pitcher and catcher for obvious reasons and the manager because that call more than likely came from the dugout.

  • A good way to loose a scholarship kids!

  • You can tell by the catcher's bad acting as the pitch arrives at home that this was intentional. But the pitcher is such a total loser that the ump didn't even miss a beat.

Sporting competition does not build character; it reveals it.

  • Yea dats c-vill georgia(white and purple) we one state that year......

  • did that one time in a tourni, got mi coach almost thrown out tho,

    AHAHA

mi pitcher and i wer soo cleaver XD

  • That was intentional

  • Third base was stolen, sac fly to right, red team win the game!

Anyone else see the batter telling the runner not to steal tho? :P

  • what the fuck was the catcher doing?

  • rage by the catcher for a bad call

    he said afterwords

"i thought it was a curveball, and i thought it would break"

  • yeah I've had that happen to me when I played catcher. maybe he got dirt in his eye \=

  • i played in more big time games than any of these kids..and i do mean kids. classless and immature. your comments prove to me what kind of ma..i mean kid you are. i'm through with ya.

  • Yeah, bullshit. I'm 12 and I'm positive that I've played, matter of fact i'm pretty sure I've pitched more big games than you've been in. I've thrown two no-hitters in World Seris Championships, and threw a one-hitter in the Cooperstown Championship.

  • Wow, you're cool.

  • sure

  • You wanna' bet on it?

  • I'll bet on your puberty that you will lose in a fight to anyone that commented on this page

  • Were you the umpire in this faggot?

  • what a play!

  • I can't tell if the pitcher and catcher BOTH collaborated on this, but the catcher clearly intended to allow the ball to hit the umpire, no doubt about it. The pitch was thrown too hard and too high for the catcher to pretend that he expected it to break downwards into the dirt. If he had truly mixed up his signals with the pitcher, he would have tried to reach up with his glove at the last second and snare the ball.

    He did not.

  • eject the catcher come on thats not cool

  • hey idiot the catcher did that on purpose

  • tht catcher SUCKS!!!

  • haha the catcher did that on purpose

  • what was the catcher catching

  • as someone that's played sports my entire life it doesn't get anymore chicken shit than this. Americas game... yeah looks like it to me.

  • lol ur an idiot. if you even watched this game you would have known that the umpires made a bad call and so this is how a clever catcher decided to get him back...

take your asinine comments somewhere else you disrespectful douche.

  • What if when the kids hit the umpire, the umpire fainted or ended up having next pain? It happens, no one can take a 80+ mph ball to the face. Kids probably would have been charged criminally and if the home plate umpire wanted too he could press charges for battery!

  • Possibly.. but it was a hanging curve ball.. so it was not close to 80mph. 65-70. still fast. but.. if it were intentional (which i think it was) they are sneaky :)

  • catcher was going to walk on at a small college but the coach didn't want him after this
