When it comes to the SVP 1166, nothing can beat it. Even the new strobes and LEDs can't put out the candle power that the SVP can in direct sun light. Also, there is an old school charm when using the 1166 compared to the new portable light technology.
i have a SVP 1166 in the same style as that Able 2 but mines brighter :) i guess its a SVP/ Star thing.
