Yes that 's one whole island. Maldives has in total about 1190 islands (varying in size), of which only about 200 are inhabited. And about 90 are resorts.
Little to no temperature change year round makes for a very hot humid place. Night time temps oftentimes don't drop below 80f. Looks like a beautiful place. It's expensive because it's small. Still, I'd love to go there.

Can't wait to go back to South-Asia...U.K has 2 be one of the most depressing places on Earth...just as the people flora and fauna are...Maldives is undescribable u must witness it 2 see the beauty of the Islands...even the rare fruits u can find here...are so heavenly delicious...the weather is just right...and the beauty of this place is like no other!!

My Father is Punjabi from Pakistan and my Mother is Maldivian from Male...so being South-Asian i feel very lucky to be travelling across the two nation's - Pakistan has it's Mountain Heaven's and Beautiful Lakes, Deserts and Golden Beaches...Maldives is also Paradise with crystal clear blue waters and white sands palm trees coral reefs and marine fish...sooooo Beautiful......Pakistan is way hotter though than Maldive's...But Maldive's is more secluded...Got houses in both countries!!

Yes that 's one whole island. Maldives has in total about 1190 islands (varying in size), of which only about 200 are inhabited. And about 90 are resorts.

Little to no temperature change year round makes for a very hot humid place. Night time temps oftentimes don't drop below 80f. Looks like a beautiful place. It's expensive because it's small. Still, I'd love to go there.
