He's right to an extent I did this exact thick on my own but I landed on a branch that I noticed had been removed from this version, but I jumped from the exact same place. Obviously he just found something else to land on. Oh and BTW at least on hard you need at least 72 missiles to get it. 6 missiles per notch 4 notches per floor and 3 floors. Not counting missiles that miss cause you hit the little dudes. And the floating things that spawn don't give you missile refills.
@djblackjack19187 youre going to have to go back there anyway after you get the gravity suit. im pretty sure one of the chozo artifacts is in the little room right next to that big room with the wave buster in it.
@Donut117 yes u are absolutely right but the fact that the wavebuster is in your arsenal u can get thru the game a lil quicker (wavebuster is powerful but the ammo it takes is a lil too much lol.) bosses will fall to you tho hahahaha
@Donut117 I just managed to get the artifact without gravity suit. All you have to do is lock on with scan visor to something and jump backwards to the corner on your left side in the area before the wave beam door. It was quite easy actually. About as easy to do as the echoes 101%. Just have to get that right kind of jump that like ''slide'' you.
Dude, so cash. Thanks. I remember owning this game for the GCN and always trying to find some kind of ledge just like the one you showed here. Heh, now I'm even more satisfied that I bought prime trilogy.
I just love this kind of glitchs\bugs to death. I never use them on my games but normally after i have finished i like to watch them on youtube. Just to see the quantity of crazy things i miseed during my playthrough. >X
@lizardgirlkelsey You get the Wave Beam in the chapel of the elders, after eradicating 4 Baby Sheegoths, and facing a giant Sheegoth. It is also the only weapon that can damage Bombus. It is the element of electricity.
I am a stage-skipper. so I jump to things like that. I probably would have found it out........ but not 'til I had gotton father in it. Thanks! (First time player)
Oh, I have it! now I'm a pro sequnce (bad spelling lol) breaker. did you know you can get Space jump as your first item? with that, youu can get SO many missile expansions without the missile lancher!
Yes, when you activate it, it frist uses 10 missiles to start then 1 by 1 your missiles go down until you run out of missiles or you stop. Same thing with the flame thrower.
not trying to be rude u can get plasma beam and even beat the game without spiderball and you can fight him with the phazon suit but in hard mode they just get early plasma and beat hm if there doing 100%
In the NTSC version, there's a branch between the point on which he landed and the ledge from which he jumped. It was that branch which was removed, not the landing point.
I tried using wvebuster on thardus a few minutes ago and it didn't work that well. it wasn't on hrd mode but I'd guess its effectiveness would even less in that case. As far as damage per missile you'd probably be better off using super missiles. Ice spreader wouldn't work at all be cause it just bounces off. I don't kow how flamethrower would work but I don't think it has very good range and you might have to get too close for comfort too use it.
Yeah, I know. I tried it myself AFTER I wrote that description saying it would help you with Thardus. Sorry. Super missiles work best, I think. At least I cleared it with those.
I used a different method for an easy Thardus: early plasma beam. I had to restart the game fromthe beginning though because I collected the thermal visor from behind and it cased a glitch that pervented me from getting the super missile.
There is another ledge where this can be done without the boost ball too. You need space jump boots though.
If you stand where you originally picked up the morph ball, you can look up+right and see a little debris edge. It is possible to reach that little debris platform from the morph ball pickup with the space jump. Easiest way imo.
@ Saberclaw1337 actually u can get it on wii if u get metroid prime trilogy on wii

what i did to do it was go to the other side of the boost ball track and just double jump over. It might take a few tries though.

JdoubleA2 2 years ago
Then you must be new at metroid prime 1!!!!!, and wavebuster is like super missiles but its for wave beam and is a continuous beam fire.
44dman44 2 years ago
does it waste missiles

conan5567 3 years ago
Codes for countries slash continents slash regions. NTSC is north american version, PAL is european
RazmanEX 3 years ago
lol sweet
like i use the wavebuster anyway, other than metroid prime fight first forme
its alot easyer to use the wavebuster when the wave beam can hurt metroid prime (when she is purple) other wise its not worth wasting missles
T3Zenaty 3 years ago
thats a neat trick
its called the waveburst not wavebuster
trueConspiracy 3 years ago
Unless we've got differently translated versions, it's the wavebuster.
