I remember this day. My parents weren't home and I was with my bro and sis. It was crazy and my friend had to run like 4 blocks away to his house in it.
i was home by myself in akron when this happene, and i was 15 at the time i was just freaking out and screaming cause i was like what the fuck is hail doing in the middle of summer? haha we used to have some in our freezer but it melted slowly so we just threw it away. that was a crazy day though.
i used 2 live on hillman in ellet by the airport and we drove around there a lot after we moved and it was crazy seeing all the roofing company signs and everything. Luckily we didn't get hit as hard where i live now.
My mum and I were in the Goodwill on Waterloo when the storm hit. I remember this one cloud that looked like it was swirling around but I'd never seen a funnel cloud before. So we're inside and the storm hits really suddenly. There's just thunder all over the place and sheets of rain, and then it gets creepy quiet. And then the sound of ping, ping slowly at first, and then the sky seriously just opened up and the hail fell. It was the craziest thing I'd even seen.
my 86 year old grandma and life time Kenmore resident was at Acme when it happened on east ave. Man here car was messed up. Its hard to miss its the only Infinity in Kenmore.
I was in Marietta, Ohio when this happened and there wasn't any hail, but the wind blew so hard that a 100 lb grill was slammed into the house & it was 15ft. away from the house!
