  • Get over it, Chuck! It wasn't YOUR body, was it?

  • Pro-lifers, learn the TRUTH about Abortion & Choice. Most abortions are unwanted or coerced. Many are forced. Learn what you can do about it. Go to unfairchoice(dot)info & clinicquotes(dot)com or look up the Elliot Institute.

  • The microphone knows Linda is a big sinner.

  • Thank you for speaking when so many of us fear to.

  • Please tell your aunt about Rachel's Vineyard; it is a healing ministry for women who have had abortions... also, you could have her go speak with a priest... Just about any priest (catholic; others, too, I'm sure, but I can only speak for catholics) will want to help her... whether or not she happens to be catholic.

  • Well, if women dont regret abortions, why dont i give you the phone number to my aunt who had an abortion, she tries commiting suicide s much from just the thought of it, that she is now on heavy duty meds, thanks to abortion,my aunt is fucked for life, women DO regret abortion.

  • @farahbuu It sounds like your aunt probably had some problems before she got pregnant. Do you really think being FORCED to give birth would have improved her mental health?

  • @HappyMurderingSlut Your replying to something I said last year, I am not arguing over this, lets just agree to disagree, OK?

  • @farahbuu I'm sorry, but I can't agree to that. One relative's bad experience with abortion doesn't mean all women should be forced to bear children they don't want. A better solution would be some insight-oriented therapy for your aunt.

  • @HappyMurderingSlut Look, I do not want to debate or argue, I am Pro-Life and you are obviously Pro-Choice, I am not into arguing or debating, I used to be but not now and as for my aunt i don't speak to her anymore for personal reasons that have nothing to do with this, if your looking for a good debate, go to myyearbook and click on the baby forum, TONS of Pro-Lifers and Pro-Choicers on there to debate with

  • And yet study after study has shown that MOST women do NOT regret their abortions, and the rate of depression among women who have had abortions is exactly the same as it is among women who haven't. All the whining Lindas and Chucks, and all the pro-lifer name-calling in the world can't change the facts. (By the way, completeresilience, I don't care if you call me a slut -- in fact, I think it's helpful. It shows people what you REALLY care about.)

  • The existence of post-abortion syndrome is not recognized by any medical or psychological organization and some physicians have argued that the effort to popularize the idea of a post-abortion syndrome is a tactic used by pro-life advocates for political purposes. In response to such activism, some state legislatures have mandated that patients be told that abortion increases their risk of depression and suicide, despite the fact that such risks are not supported by the scientific literature

  • @MyrtleMessmer Boo, Myrtle! Don't confuse the issue with SCIENCE! All that matters is what GOD SAYS ABOUT ABORTION!!

  • Wow, a lot of Christians seem to be having abortions! What's up with that?

  • Most women DON'T regret their abortions! From the NYTimes: "The number of women who seek out groups like Rachels Vineyard is a small fraction of the number of American women who have abortions. Almost 3 million of the 6 million pregnancies that occur each year in the U.S. are unplanned; about 1.3 million end in abortion. The number of women who go to abortion-recovery counseling is probably in the tens of thousands, and the number who become dedicated activists is at most a few hundred."

  • Sadist, give it up the play for false sympathy.

So, what you're saying is that we should kill children because parents don't parent well? Serial killers have parents too, maybe we should kill them instead of the the kids, there's a thought.

    Sarcasm, sorry.

Sexie sadist, I'm sure that your son appreciates your sentiment that you wish that he was dead. Did you say that he was raped at six years old? You're a poor excuse for a human being, never mind the fact that you have no maternal instinct.

  • Terminating a pregnancy is not the same thing as killing a child. And yes, I think people who aren't ready to be good parents should have abortions. By the way, I don't tell people my son is a child molester in a bid for sympathy. Actually, many people react rather negatively -- imagine that! In fact, I'm trying really hard to wrap my mind around what kind of moron would think I would make something like that up for SYMPATHY.... Damn! You're really stupid!

  • Hi Sadie. You say terminating a pregnancy is not the same as killing a child. I respectfully disagree, but I had a question. When do you believe an unborn human becomes a child?

  • When does a girl become a woman? Personally, I believe that human development happens on a continuum, and hard and fast cut-off points are hard to determine. I know such a concept is difficult for black-and-white, God-versus-the-devil, Evil-Empire-versus-America-the Beautiful thinkers. But, if you need black and white moments, try these: a fetus becomes a child when it is born and it starts breathing.

  • Isn't name-calling beneath your dignity? I should hope so. In fact, if what you're expressing here is an example of what being a "prolife Christian" is, keep me away! You're a spiteful soul. You should pray to become a more compassionate person.

  • Speak for yourself! I had an abortion, and I don't feel bad about it. I am glad I was able to get a safe abortion.

  • Sadie - maybe you weren't ready to be a mother. Someone should have offered you the opportunity to adopt. If a mum is abortion-minded how can she fully love her born child without reserve? Please believe in him and tell him you are so glad he is alive. He has a wonderful and good future ahead. He can change if you believe in him. WIthout the hope and a word of belief from his mum how can he stop dysfunctional and damaging behaviour? Believe that God redeems and forgives.

  • So, you're saying my son molested three children (probably more, but three convictions) because I considered abortion? Wow, I guess all the women who consider abortion better follow through with it then, right, or their kids will all become child molesters or WORSE!! Always the mother's fault, isn't it?

  • lmfao@*their* abortion

last time i checked, men werent the ones the medical procedure was done on

my guess would be the reason she regrets it is because she's old and cant get preggy anymore

  • Thank you for sharing your story! I had an obortion and I'm having a hard time coping. I can relate to everything you said. It's comforting to know I'm not the only one who regrets and feels broken from my obortion. You two are so brave!

  • Maybe you made the right decision, loriadebbie. I was talked into having a baby more than 30 years ago, even though the father was abusive and irresponsible, and I wasn't that stable... now he's 30 and unemployed and has been convicted of child molestation. I wasn't ready to be a good mother, and I wish I had had an abortion.

  • Oh, no, I definitely SHOULD have opened my legs! I had a GREAT time! I don't regret that at all.

  • So... the prolifers are giving you the thumbs down because you CONSIDERED abortion, even though you didn't have one? They're a tough crowd!
