This is amazing! I'm a little sad you didn't pass any of the old grave stones. I believe this is the same edition I had with a few minor differences. I just dug it out of storage and am about to play it! It's also ironic because I'm in the process of packing up all of my stuff and moving from Maine to Oregon! I cannot wait to get to the Willamette Valley!

This was the version I played growing up during school, but due to the period time, I don't think anyone actually every made it all the way to Oregon. Well, that and we loved the hunting so much and often killed like everything on the screen and shot a few thousand pounds every time.

I don't recall getting any educational value out of the game whatsoever, we just played it because it was a game. Now I know what to do, but back then, heck if I knew right and wrong.
