Ok, I just watched this damn thing for like the 5th time, and it still gives me wood. I am about to get rid of a very nice 86 porsche 944 and then I am off to find a solid e21 for some serious wrenching. I hope I can build something that atleast captures the spirit of this great car. I will most likely go with the 2.7 e30 motor with the 2.5 head though.

BEAUTIFUL!!! My uncle had one of these and took me out for a spin one day, it's been love ever since. I had a 72' 2002 but the alpina e21's have always been my favorite. Muscular, sporty and cute! They shoud SHOOT Chris Bungle for what he has done to BMW, this model along with the early E24 M6 & E30 M3 were the last of the true BMW(Vee's).
