Why don't all you lame-ass whiners just stop trashing Carl. He wrote the music that made them all famous. He always was and always will be the heart and soul of Fuel. Brett may have the pretty face and voice, but it takes more than that to be a band. Let's see what he produces song-wise with his version of Fuel. I can guarantee it won't hold a candle to the original.
@ClickChick60 carl couldnt carry the band after Brett told him to "bounce on it" and from what i have seen, brett uis still tearing it up. so much for carl was the "heart and soul" granted carl is very talented,but him with out brett is a club band at best
@zach1zack9 I agree with you... not completely, though. To me there's no Fuel without Brett, but there's no Fuel without Carl either. Such a shame they didn't realise they needed each other to be perfect.

I've listened to Brett and I've listened to Toryn and Brett is a million times better. Toryn is good but he's not in a situation where he can really win, he's always going to be compared to Brett, and honestly Brett is better. Replacing the drummer, they can survive... but without Brett, Fuel is a shell of its former self.
it's sad. toryn imitates brett......he isn't much without them and vice versa.....it's sad but true. he's a real good vocalist, solid rhythm player and a real good lyricist.....as far as a 90's musician goes.

Yeah it sucks when original members leave or quit....it'shard to accept the "replacements"..... but to be the devil's advocate, I will listen and see what Toryn can bring...also Tommy Stewart is a fantastic drummer. Let's wait and see what they can do.

That's Kevin Miller. He is a sick ass drummer. I met him when he was on tour with his post-Fuel bands Fosterchild and then with the reformed Tantric.
