будучи механиком-водителем средних танков , сам не раз заганял т-72б в грязь по пояс. так вот у 72 сзади бревно видели ? это называется самовытаскиватель . конструкция гусениц позволяет закрепить его к двум гусеницам и выковырять 45 тонную консервную банку из грязи. 72 -ка в белорусских болотах тонет.... есть всегда два варианта : или ездить научишься или откапывать. думаю у американских танкистов точно также

@ReDDDgo We didnt finance the Taliban, we supplied the mujahideen during the Soviet invasion/occupation. The taliban didnt form until 1997, so i dont see why we would have to finance them, when nothing was happening. And people say we supplied Osama, and this is wrong, Osama hates the west, right? why would he accept Western Aid? well he didnt, he's rich, he used his wealth to supply his own groups.

What do you know about war in Afghanistan 1979-1989?? avaricious shots of a newsreel? You communicated with those Russian guys who were at war there? You know nothing and can judge only from your American experience of war in Afghanistan that is not so correct. You the soldier?

We, the US, did finance the Taliban during the Cold War with Russia. It was our hope to let the Taliban do our dirty work for us, but now the secrets out and everyone in the area over there wants us dead for being invasive abusive global pricks. This is why we can't simply pull out, even though Obama's been in office with his promise for over 2 years. We have to finish what we started, sadly. I don't approve of what we did, but I can't change it.

But HOW could you 'end" it?? I don't see ANY 'good" move for the USA in the current situation... In Vietnam, after the USA left, the situation there resolved one way or another and the problem contained itself. I don't see how this can happen in post-Bush Iraq...

@grozde Well, as far as I'm getting, we are trying to help them rebuild their country. Get a good government going, get a police force trained, and try our best to neutralize the terrorists. In Vietnam, we weren't worried about them nuking us afterward. Here the issues is that they could easily obtain the capability to shoot a nuke at us or one of our allied nations. The only way to 'end' it for us is to either stay 'til it's almost all cleared up, or leave and get our missile defenses ready.

May be the only way out is to install... a new moderate tyrant before regretfully extracting. But that would take a lot of time, money and blood, too...

Russian planes and surface-to-air missile systems against the American planes in Korea, in Vietnam, for example. In Korea directly there were Russian pilots against Americans pilots. Russian have brought down about 2000 American planes, have lost only approximately 300 Migs. Where still directly Russian were at war against Americans everyone own weapon? :)

@ReDDDgo If I recall correctly the casualties sustained in iraq are over 1.6 million insurgents and civilians. I dont support the war on either side and even though alquaeda and the taliban are funded by the US, I still woulndt boast about deaths on either side.

@ReDDDgo We didnt finance the Taliban, we supplied the mujahideen during the Soviet invasion/occupation. The taliban didnt form until 1997, so i dont see why we would have to finance them, when nothing was happening. And people say we supplied Osama, and this is wrong, Osama hates the west, right? why would he accept Western Aid? well he didnt, he's rich, he used his wealth to supply his own groups.

@ReDDDgo The U.S. supported (not financed) the mujihadeen (not the Taliban). The Taliban came into power after the Afghan-Soviet war. Your statements are inaccurate. Al Qaeda is not a centrally controlled group. Anyone who says they have a plan to kill westerns can get money from them and wear their name while doing it.

I see armies of the USA in Afghanistan which have much more problems, than the USSR in Afghanistan in the past. The USA financed and trained Talibs then. Now nobody finances and does not train Talibs, but armies of the USA cannot won.

@ReDDDgo The U.S. did not train Taliban. Taliban didn't exist untill 1992, U.S. trained the Northern alliance. The NA trapped, ambushed and beat Soviet armor before U.S. Aid. The Russians didn't win in the 6 years before U.S. aid either.
