Good review. I could pull up a whole lot more shite then what you said but it was a good review that focused mainly on single player (pretty much the only thing to do once you complete the game in 2/3 hours as multiplayer is shite. The worse ever). MoH ruined their own franchise. Not the reviews, just their shoddy games-making

This is a great game. Your review doesn't do it justice. I personally think Vanguard is better than CoD 3, and I own both. Nothing wrong with level design; a dumb German soldier = a dead one, which is what we all want from this game; graphics are on par with equivalent game titles of the genre during the period in which Vanguard was released. Your review is obviously biased.

I don't know what your problem with this game is. It's not much knew or particularly different, but it's compitant and good fun. It may not be as good as CoD, but, fuck, what is. If you like WWII and need some more nazi-blasting then buy this game

@jmc7586 it was released in 2007. CoD 3 is way better looking then this. Also yes killing Nazi's is real fun. It's a lot easier and theres generally more on CoD if thats your thing. Vanguard has 1 of the worst multiplayers ever. For starters CoD 3 has online. Vanguard doesnt. Max you can have playing is 4 for Vanguard. Nothing new about the game apart from the drop. Gernades are shite. Maps are far too small. No snipers, no bazookas (multi) and no class system like in Euro assault. Complete crap

@Lordangers To give you benefit of the doubt, I just viewed both MoH: Vanguard and CoD 3 gameplay. To a WW2 FPS fan's eyes, and not those of a video game graphical designer, there's no outstanding visual difference between the two games' graphics other than minor things like how the character holds the weapon. Both have blurry textures and minor grit, plus the poor character movement renders MP moot. In my opinion, CoD and MoH both left much to be desired prior to Modern Warfare and Airborne.

@jmc7586 you cant give your opinion on the game if you dont play it! you cant asess conttrols, ifficulty, online play.. the graphics are better in cod 3 in my opinion. i dont think theres anyway i can change ur mind on tht one.

ps: air bourn is a joke online. bloody n00bs with bazookas and recoiless rifles para onto roof tops......... some maps are as shite as vanguard they are so small. theres plenty of places to camp, it's grphics are no better then CoD3 at times (look at tehgamers channel)

@Lordangers Who said I don't play either of them? I own both and have beaten 'em several times. I went and looked at video to refresh my memory of the graphics. And there is camping and other "cheap" styles of play in all games. I will lean more toward your side of the spectrum on one point though - CoD 3 has a bit more "fine detail" than MoH Vanguard, but the rendering and textures are still equal.

@jmc7586 You said you looked at a vid instead of playing a game so I thought....... my bad sorry. In this one your encouraged to camp. You sit around in one of the few spwn points with a sub machine gun and if they dont appear within that spwn point you can dash over to the next one before they pick up a decent gun even with a shite sprint that lasts under 2 secs. There is camping on all games, Airbourne has to be the worst, but not to this extent. You cant spwn with a decent weapon. Pitty

Nice Review! 5 Stars! I made a review about this game, but yours is way better. I agree with everything you said, poor level desgn, the enimies arn't smart, this game just isn't worth it.
