This clip had me absolutely hooting with uncontrollable laughter watching the show last night. Top Gear just gets better and better. Of course the program is not about cars to quote James May it is " 3 middle aged men cocking about". There just happens to be some stuff that people who like cars will find interesting in it too. Personally I'm not a petrol head but just enjoy the comedy and looking at cars I'll never see anywhere else let alone afford to buy. Great clip thanks

Are you referring to the pre 2002 incarnation? It was taken off air because of plummeting viewing figures. 5th gear took the format (and the presenters) then continued with it on channel 5, if that's what you want to watch you know where it is.

Clarkson pitched the new format to the BBC it was accepted and it's been a huge success, an estimated 350million viewers worldwide. Also take note, it's one of the BBC's most profitable shows, earns them more money than they pay out
