@gascat100 not quite...the firing IS the recoil. see, a ball in a circular revolution has a natural tangent at any given point, and usually a wall or cord prevents it from flying off (centripetal/centrifugal force). from there, the wall of the bullet chamber is the opposing force, blocking it from flying out of "orbit". the gun merely removes the block and lets that opposing force take over....essentically, it has recoil, but the recoil is how it fires. so "no" recoil.

Should be equal forces on weapon and projectile, unless they are compromising a large amount of the force with energy absorption to have a small recoil which means less force on projectile, waste of force. Next; I can't find anything on this anywhere else, and I've looked a LOT. The project was either scraped or went REALLY Black. There used to be plans online you could DL to build a smaller version of this kind of gun that shot BB's. It's no longer anywhere I can find it. A friend of mine did build one, was not acurate at all, was lucky to hit a 2'x2' target at 50 yards. I guess when shooting 100,000 rounds in about a minute acurate is kinda moot.

When they say no recoil they mean almost no recoil. This design is different from most conventional firearms because the mass these projectiles are working against are the mechanisms spinning the projectiles inside the weapon. Any recoiling force is already being accounted for against the electrical motor inside the device; and in a centrifugal fashion, not against the person holding the gun or it's mount. Any traditional recoil will be almost impossible to feel.

4: recoil is unavoidable. if mass is being propelled away from the gun, thermodynamics states there will be an equal and opposite reaction. the only way to overcome this is to simultaneously eject equivalent mass in the opposite direction to the projectile. This is the principle used in recoilless rifles etc.
