I used very thinned out oil paint it was thinned with turpentine. The more turpentine I add the more water color affect you get. If you mess up just wipe it with turpentine and a rag or napkin. I also sometimes sketch with a pencil, regular pencil or charcoal.

Thank you, you can change the color of the toning with, cool, greens and blue mixtures if you want to do a landscape painting.
