I have a 2004 silver wing with 3000 miles on it and hasn't been started in 24 months. What are the procedures before I attempt to initially crank it to life? Thanks. JJ
I would check the battery and make sure it has a good charge, or put it on a charger overnight. Change the engine oil, and the rear end oil. Check the radiator for fluid.
push it slowly and make sure the front and rear breaks are working. Check both tire pressures. I think that would be my minimum list before i would ride a bike not ridden for two years. Where do you live?
YES, there is a noticeable increase in acceleration, and you get a higher top end.
The variator is about 1/4 inch larger in diameter which drops the RPM at high speed, depending on which weights you use. You can vary the speed it drops the RPM at depending on what weights you use.
