However it appears that two of the listed winning entries are not in agreement with the contest rules. One video is over the five minute time limit and the other video violates the entry limit rule, the picked video was the second entry by the user.

It actually says no where in the rules about a five minute time limit, and hickman928's winning video was entered before his other entry. If you go to his video "playing in the mud" and hit statistics, it says "added September 19, 2008" where as his other video "Centertown mud bog 9-20-08" was added "September 22, 2008"

I agree with codered5150 as well, it would be very difficult to compose a video of 10 different interpretations of the whole song, whereas it is much easier to compose it of smaller, unrelated, uncountious clips. I do enjoy watching the full videos though! Good job to those who were able to put them together!

I really don't understand some of the videos that were picked..they have nothing to do with the lyrics of the song. some of the videos on here are really good and were not picked. And they "went with" the song. I really don't think Alan looked at these videos. If he did, then I'm very disappointed. well I'm pretty sure that Alan didn't want a full scale production about his song...he wanted videos of country people doing country things such as, "send me some footage of yourself in your cowboy hat, boots, truck, whatever doing country boy stuff.....shoot your truck, girlfriend, flag, dog, grandmaw, bass boat, 4 wheeler, pet racoon...shoot us some cool footage"

Well it seems in his other videos,it worked. Codered..I seen the video he made..I know what he said. I'm stating MY personal opinion. Not saying the videos they picked weren't good. I'm just saying he passed on some really great videos that would of made more sense to pick. Pictureshow's video fit the song perfect..just as messenger4truth's does, somewhat, in a different way.
