Rovers fans are a disgrace, abusing their manager every game. No wonder the team's struggling if they have to play in front of those fans. It's not Kean or Venkys fault, its the Rovers fans who are destroying the team!
@flyingjibberish The fans are complaining BECAUSE the team is struggling. Not the other way around, you numpty. Kean was given a chance. 30+ games and in that time he's become one of the worst managers in PL history. They have every right to make a stand.
@sec0ndevolution protesting does no good. The venkys have absolute power, if you don't like it you shouldn't have let them buy your club. To them the fans are nothing more than taxpayers that generate money for the Venkys, so they're not going to listen to your protests. You're better off laying down your arms and supporting the regeime. If you can't beat them, join them!
@flyingjibberish You make it sound so easy. We (mere fans) shouldn't have LET them buy the club? We don't have the media-influence that bigger clubs' fans do, for a start. And it was up to the Walkers' not us. I blame the Walker Trust as much as I blame Venkys tbh.
@flyingjibberish The fans had no say in who bought the club. The Jack Walker Trust wanted rid of it and were tasked with finding suitable buyers to take the club forward. They failed.
The club is heading into free-fall. Since you're not a Blackburn fan, you probably don't know what's going on behind the scenes. Steve Kean's just the tip of the iceberg. The fans are exercising their right to protest because they want answers.
Excellent video, very well put together. I actually feel a little sorry for Kean as he is clearly out of his depth managing a premier league team. The owners clearly know absolutely nothing about running a football club, and I feel sorry for the Blackburn fans too.
Celtic fan...nice video. Been watching the relegation battle this season and it's clear Steve Kean needs to be removed. Results have been shocking, the fans have no faith in him and how he thinks he can turn things round I don't know. Steve Bruce got a decent opportunity but their board knew when to pull the plug. A manager's position is totally untenable when fans protest for weeks nevermind months at a time..how Kean is still in a job is beyond me and the Blackburn board need to sack him ASAP
Arsenal fan here (yes i know 4-3) but i just have to feel sorry for Blackburn.. what has happened here is a reflection of the pathologies of modern football and its commercialisation. The outsourcing/division of processes associated with running a club (ownership/finance, managing, playing etc) has created opportunities for unscrupulous individuals to take what they want from the club, its history and its symbolic value, and the result is absolute paralysis..
@comehereformusic The most sensible comment I've ever heard from an Arsenal fan.... You obviously are a football fan not blinded by the media and other predudices. Very refreshing to hear, thank you.
owners are content with their raised profile, agents content with their financial gain, Kean content with his job yet with no managerial ability, players putting effort in but getting nothing out... An equilibrium has been formed amongst all parties associated with the club either through satisfaction with the status quo, or inability to change it. If you guys get relegated hopefully a rebuilding process can start.
Really well put together video, shows clearly how a large number of Kean's points were gained as a result of work put in by the Allardyce regime and it's gone downhill since Kean was put in charge. #keanout
Good job on the video. Hopefully we can keep cranking up the pressure on Venkys to get this impostor out of the club. Such an abysmal record in charge.
Great video, painful subject. 1:01 is the problem, this fucking stupid obsession everyone has these days with "good football". Good football is winning football, something we used to be pretty decent at under Big Sam.
You might want to include the open letter in the Daily Telegraph. Kean's retracting his comment about ignoring the fans. The Sky interview where he said he'd talk to the protestors and highlight the fact that he backed out of that promise.
Might also be worth adding the escapade he had verbally abusing that Rovers fan.
Also might be worth mentioning the run in he had with Customs.
Also might be further worth adding Clements appointment and his four letter abuse aimed at the Rovers protestor.
@tombo1984 Hello mate, I will be updating the video after the chelsea match to include events that have happened since the end of the video (incl newcastle, paul clement bust up, norwich, chelsea, protest 4...)
If you feel that there are any events missed out, like the ones you have pointed out, please can you send me an inbox/email with a brief description of each with event with links to stories/videos so that i can include them.
Pretty much sums our situation up and the shambles of what is going on. We are a great club and a proud club, the supporters must act NOW to preserve our dignity and not only our Premier League status. COYB !
Completed signings under Kean have proved mostly successful: Formica, Rochina, Vukcevic, Dann & The Yak all gelled with the team and performing great on the pitch. If only Goodwillie would hit the target a little more often, hopefully that'll happen soon.
Losing Phil to the Mancs was a major blow, however our defence is beginning to show signs of finally adapting to life without him. And Lowe is showing great promise at right-back compared to Salgado, who's having a torrid season.
@StuartGT How ironic you say the defence is showing improvement when Dann (one of Kean's "successful signings" hasn't played). The guy hasn't looked like a £8m defender.
Formica & Rochina have bags of skill but still look raw at this level. Vukcevic has made two appearances. And Yakubu blows hot & cold. Heck, in some games Kean benches more of his signings than not. That said, our team isn't that bad. It's woeful management dragging us down.
@the2k Agree - no way that losing a run of several games can be put down to luck. One or two maybe; but I personally believe that Blackburn have the quality squad wise to at least mount a challenge to stay. It's mismanagement from the top down that's costing Blackburn. Even the likes of newly promoted QPR (who intelligently signed a number of good, experienced and established EPL players) and Norwich (who have an excellent young manager and a team playing for the jersey) are a better bet.
Excellently compiled video! Pity it doesn't include our recent matches against Newcastle and Norwich, but hey, they don't improve the overall stats much. Currently we are playing brilliantly - some difficulties in the final third against Spurs not withstanding - bur luck just isn't on our side: Norwich only drew due to a massive fluke shot and a ridiculously contentious penalty for accidental handball.
@StuartGT Thanks for the feedback - I finished the video on Wednesday evening during the Newcastle match, started uploading it Thursday and it took well over 24 hours to go up, so leaving out the Newcastle & Norwich games was not an intentional decision.
I was at the game yesterday and agree that we played well, the performances have improved a lot recently but unfortunately points win prizes, not performances. The unlucky draw yesterday takes Kean's total win% below 20% - or 28 points from 93.
@StuartGT You're deluded, mate, and must be on a wind-up. This video illustrates the overall decline of Blackburn Rovers FC under the mismanagement of Kean & Venky's. You think one win in the cup and 3pts thrown away at Norwich has any relevance here? Seriously, have a word with yourself.
It's remarkable how quickly the new owners have turned one of the country's best run clubs into an complete and utter farce. It's obvious to anyone that the Venky's have been duped by Jerome Anderson & SEM into believing all that crap about 'top four' finishes, especially with a sycophant like Kean toeing the party line.
I hope they enjoy Championship football next year.
wonderful video on a subject which makes me want to cry. what hurts is the damage to the reputation of the club for the recruitment of future players (not ronaldinho either). Never have a felt so vehemently about a man i have never met.
I have a Film and Broadcasting degree and I have to say that that video is brilliant. Nice job! And as a lifelong Rovers fan... GET KEAN OUT!!! GET VENKY'S OUT!!!
Very upsetting to watch as a Rovers fan. Really does show just how extreme our demise has been over such a short space of time, how evident it is that thing's aren't right on all levels and that Kean needs to go, right now. I fear the worst :/

@StuartGT is it really luck? or is it Kean's inability to be able to read a game and to sub the wrong players?
