actually , sort of a sorry joke about ole Burt: he is terrific in Vera Cruz. His eating scene, using his choppers like a lawn mower or pacman, jeez, and that blinding headlights smile all 38 teeth. But I digress. I also mixed up Denise Darcel and Corrine: they were a long way from dead ringers but they did bear a slight kind of stocky resemblance.

unless I am mightily mistaken, from her voice as much as from her face: the woman at the first is none other than Corinne Calvete. She was also in Vera Cruz with Gary Cooper and Lurch Bancaster uhh Burt Lance, uhh well anyway she was with them

I knew that French dame shouldn't be trusted, and I see that I was right!

Note "phone girl" in the final credits, who's identified only as "sam". That was actually Mary Tyler Moore, just before her big breakout role in "The Dick Van Dyke Show". All that was ever shown of her on this show were her legs.
