Actually, they did. The very last story arc in Konquest Mode confirms this, where Scorpion explains that the Elder Gods 'rewarded' him by bringing back his clan as the undead. In his own words:
"They promised to resurrect my clan. They are no longer dead....they are the UNDEAD! For this treachery, I will eliminate the Elder Gods' only means for stopping Armageddon. I will eliminate both you and your brother."
um....i thought in shaolin monks sub-zero said that it was his brother who scorpion killed in the tournament in mortal kombat 1 and came back as noob saibot so correct me if im wrong
@supermanbran123 I think you're getting them confused with the White Lotus with the exception of Kung Lao who is an exceptional fighter. The Lin Kuei consisted of fighters such as the Sub Zero brothers, Cyrax, Smoke, and Sektor before they formed the Tekunin, as well as Frost.
