i think the putting system for tiger woods 09 is friggin gay the 08 putting guage was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better!!! in 09 u have to almost always hit it 100% or it stops short every g-fucking damn time!!!! tiger wood 2010 should be 09 with 08s putting system but better gameplay thats just what i think...oh and the annoucers are gay...i want mccord and feridie back!!!!! the new announcer guy makes me want to go to sleep!

Is 09 worth buying, or should I buy 08 ? If you swing off-plane will the shot slice or hook at all? And are the graphics any better in 09 ? Please let me know what I should get. Thanks

09 is better than 08 from what I can tell. The swinging is better and you can slice and hook your shot if your swinging is off but it doesn't happen often. The graphics are probably better, I never bought 08, i'm basing this off of the videos i've seen.

IF you swing off-plane, does the ball curve/ draw/ fade ? Or is this not like the 360 version? In the 360 version if you dont press directly up on the joystick, it will curve. Is it like that in Wii, or does it always just go straight? Thanks

yeah u can play a normal round of 18 or 9 holes online. my friend and i play it all the time. only bad part about it is that you don't see ur friend hitting. You both are playing at the same time and there is a 30 second count down to hit the ball. If you don't hit it within time u get a penalty stroke ( not sure if it was like this in the previous ver as i never bought that)

Good idea because this game SUCKS on the Wii. I have the Wii and 360 version and the Wii's version is a REAL let down. This whole 1:1 bullshit pisses me off because it is NOT 1:1 swing mechanics. Close but not close enough! Next year BETTER use the new Motion Plus! DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!! RENT FIRST!! I thougt for SURE I was going to love it but it is WAY too inconsistent. NO WAY to get anywhere CLOSE to duplicating your power when shooting so one time it'll be 80% and the next time 49%. Sucks.

i agree with the inconsistency part when i was a NOOB that is and lets be honest, a real golfer couldnt consistently duplicate a shot. but when i got to understand the physics of the game and all that crap, its actually pretty good. I would have to disagree that this game sucks on the wii, games nowadays is about realism and trying to swing a club from a 360 or a ps3 remote as opposed to a wii remote, i would say the wii beat ps3's and 360's ass on controls on the basis of realism and physics.

Wow im really impresses with the ammount of time they have put into 09, because the 07 and 08 were pratically the same, and nothing had changed, and on the wii versions there wernt alote of options that made the wii versions stand out, so im really pleased and i will be buying this soon.
