Thanx a million for this vid. I have exactly the same problem as you do: oily skin + very sensitive (rubbing moisturizer makes my face red).

I find Double Wear quite difficult to work with (it's thick) so I got Double Wear Light (Intensity 1.0). It doesn't match my skin color (has some strange undertone) while 2.0 is too dark for me. So, for me DW Light was a great waste of money.

Anyways, you look awesome, your vids are amazing and you're a real makeup pro :)

I do the exact same thing just minus the primer and using palmers olive oil lotion for moisture and estee lauderdouble wear light in 05 and the mineralize skin finish in deep :) perfect kin in a few minutes - will be doing a vid on it in a few days :) x

this is a really good video. I have some red spots and a little bit of uneven skin as well, and it makes me feel very insecure about the way my face looks, I don't really like going anywhere or being shown without makeup on, since i have red spots etc. I'll def try this out. @Wisest85 What I did was go to my Sephora store, and the women there are SUPER helpful with that problem without making you feel stupid. They are there for commision, so they gotta be nice. ;) But really....that would be my suggestion. It worked for me! Good luck. :)

i love the doublewear foundation it's my absolute favorite too!! but i dont like using the mac skin mineralize on top of it i prefer the studio gear loose powder I find it gives it an amazing finish and the at the end i use the elf makup setting mist:) and just like u i like using the elf flat top with my mac skin mineralize foundation well whenever i do use it:)

I ALWAYS get harsh lines on my neck from using that foundation! I use the same shade as you but my neck is super white!! So now I use MUFE mat velvet plus :) Your foundation rountine is perfect for you! :)

Girl you should try the beauty blender with ELDW OMG I love this foundation, but I can honestly say I love it even more now. The beauty Blender really applies it smoothly and it takes less product because the sponge is damp. I know the beauty blender is pricey but it's so worth it and it last a long time if you take care of it. I hope you got what I was trying to say LOL You are to beautiful Awesome video!!! :)

i had skin just like you super red and sensitive and prone to breakouts like bad until i tried a face cleanser that changed it completely...i also had very bad back acne breakouts i would try so many products that didnt work for me until i was at target one time and decided to buy their "Up & up deep cream cleanser" im extremely happy about it and I hope you try it out its only like around $3 so its worth trying out since its not expensive i would love to know how it turned out for you.

I have blotchy Rosaca skin....just aweful! I came across this product that you may want to try and I just LOVE IT! It's actually used by Asian women that seem to have out most beautiful skin . But right now, at hand, all I have to use is my Ecotools foundation brush. Will that not give the same effect?

This was amazing! At first I thought that color was too dark on you, but once you're finished, it looks perfect! The color is perfect, and it doesn't look blotchy or anything. It doesn't even look like you have any makeup on, yet you look flawless! But will this not work if you use a drugstore foundation and a different brush? Cuz I wanna use my Revlon Colorstay.

Like that one person said who has the highest rated comment, it looks like the redness and blotchiness you have is due to rosacea, dry skin. So this method won't work for blotchiness and uneveness we have due to actual acne scarring, and dark spots?

Seriously, you created the most perfect skin. It is perfectly even with out looking fake and your face show a beautiful sheen I'm guessing from the MSF. I love Double Wear too, but the sad part is that I can't enjoy its full benefits of lasting power and/or coverage because I cannot find a good match for my skin tone. I am olive NC40 :( It sucks that they dont have a better color range, because I truly think this is the best foundation. Period.

I got the Estee Lauder foundation, its great coverage, perfect for a night out because it lasts all night but its like paint so I cant use mine for the day time. It dries like paint too so once put on, have to blend it quick because it sets.

Maybe its just not great for dry skin.

This foundation is good for oily skin, that's why ppl with dry skin find it caky, because it is hard to blend in, depends on skin type really.
