    I really like your channel.

As Masami mentioned, this song, "Wakara No Asa", was written and composed by Udo Jurgens as "Was Ich Dir Sagen Will" in 1967 and quickly bacame solid gold.

  • テレサの別れの朝は初めてききましたがとてもいいですね!

    私の好きな曲です。ありがとうございました。

  • Das Original ist "Was ich Dir sagen will" von Udo Jürgens.

    Carsten

  • One of the greatest melodies ever composed and the lyrics in this version are in total harmony with TT's wonderful voice....it doesn't get any better than this.

  • This is beautiful - can someone please tell me what year this was recorded? My channel is a music archive of 475 playlists and I have a list for every year since 1900. There are over 300 playlists by artists(like Claude Ciari!). You can listen to the playlists by year as if you've stepped back in time!

  • @chkjns This "Japanese version" was first recorded in 1971.

  • @masami43 -THANKS!!!!!!!!!! I've added it to the 1971 playlist. I want my music archive to include as much music from around the world as I can. Hamabe No Uta is a beautiful song, too!

  • @masami43 -THANKS, I've added it to the 1971 playlist! I want the lists to include as much music from around the world as I can. Hamabe No Uta is one of my favorites! Chuck in Arizona

  • @chkjns Hamabe No Uta (浜辺の歌) is a beautiful Japanese song. I visited your channel, which is a splendid result of your hard work. I am pleased to assist you about this kind of information of Japanese songs within my capability.

  • @masami43 - thanks for your kind words! You can hear the style of music I like to include, I would be most pleased if you have time to forward me Japanese songs for which you can tell me the release year. I want to include them on my playlists. Thank you, and I bow to your kindness! Chuck

  • @chkjns Ha ha ! There are limitless number of wonderful Japanese songs in Youtube. If you could specify any song you want, I am pleased to check the release year, by separate mails, please.

  • @chkjns Well you've missed a few UK number ones of 1971 including "Granddad", "Ernie", "The Pushbike Song" and "Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep". But this can only be a good thing!

  • @Gmackematix share them at me! There's only one catch......I have to LIKE a song myself to include it! I'm up to 620 playlists, 400 for specific artists. The songs on my lists are, indeed, my 14,000 favorites! I've just organized them a little more than most ( boy, THAT'S an understatement! )

  • what alovely singer thanks to one u tube listener for suggesting i listen to her so sad to hear she has passed over so sad and so young 5 star xx

  • This impeccable song is like treasure hunting in TT's thousands hits. Once you got the luck to hear, it wl undoubtedly become all time favorite & never get tired of repeating listening. The hitting record around 240 thousand of Ari-san's 別れの朝 has been lost. I am still prayed all his accounts wl be back soon. Deep tks, more power to you & God Blessed ... ... ...!!!

  • 最高~。テレサの歌の中で一番かも。。。

  • Masami-san: Thank you for uploading and translating this beautiful but very sad song! I enjoyed it very much.

Btw, doesn't "kisha" mean car or can it also mean train? Also, 心が乱, does it literally mean the heart is confused? (Or is the kanji fooling me? :-) )

The lyiric for the original "Was ich dir sagen will" is also sad, but in a different way. I will translate it and let the viewers decide which they prefer.

  • As a Japanese language, "汽車 (Kisha)" means a "train". I understand 汽車 means a "car" in Taiwan. 心が乱れる literally means "heart is disordered".

  • Thank you! You are right that kisha means car in Taiwan; actually, 汽車 means car in Chinese - Taiwan or PRC. As for "heart is disordered", I'll see if I can find a comparable word in English (confused doesn't feel quite right).

  • "Emotionally confused" will be the right expression.

  • hi masami.. its been a long time since the last time i tune in to teresa tengs songs. But anyway i still a fan of teresa though im very busy.. More power to you. from canada with love

  • Same tune as The Music Played by Matt Monroe?

  • Yes, you are right. He is a wonderful singer.

  • This good song was composed and sung by Austrian singer-songwriter Udo Jürgens, and the original title is "Was ich dir sagen will" (What I want to tell you).

  • Thank you for your kind information.

  • Once again, thank you for putting the lyrics in romaji ... so I can sing ...

  • Thank you. I hope you can enjoy many beautiful Japanese songs (both melodies and lyrics).

  • yes yes!

I am a subscriber your ... I have copied several songs on your channel so you can sing to my taste ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ (#^.^#)

  • Beautiful - the coloring matches the mood of the song.

    One of my favorites.

    Thank you for sharing.

  • Its a lovely song. 私は taihen suki desu. Appreciated your English translation.

  • Great song, it's the same tune as Alguien Canto (The Music Played) sung in Spanish and English by the late and great Matt Monroe. Teresa's song/voice is wonderful and matches the tune.

  • as usual a very nice song! Thx Masami you allways give us many emotions : )

  • A million stars I give to this song and this video!

  • This is one of my favorite song of teresa teng. Thanks for putting lyrics more power to you from canada with love
