I have seen a series of videos of the muppets and i just realized something curious, all the muppets guitarrists (or at least most) are left handed !!! they are all playing left handed guitars !!! (or normal guitar in reverse)

@cichriz thats because the majority of people are right handed. and when perform a hand and rod puppet your dominant hand goes in the mouth and your other hand get's the arm rod.

i miss older gonzo's voice, there's a bit more growl and scratchiness and overall quick variation from lows to highs (especially when gonzo got excited) to it that is understandably a bit harder on the throat for dave to be doing today.

@aerinsoleris Gonzo has had the same voice actor/muppeteer since 1975 ^_^ Dave Goelz! These guys are all getting kinda old...the voices have changed naturally for most.

I think the best we can do is hope somebody has all the old Muppet Shows on DVD, and either buys some TV time and airs them, or puts them here on YouTube and hope they don't get taken down. Other than that, I am afraid we are unfortunately out of luck. Bummer.

@BuckWilliams17 oddly enough the Christian station "CTS" was airing them here for awhile (Canada, but I think the station's in the US).. and yeah, Muppets Tonight is exactly what I was referring to.. I think I could count the gags I actually liked on one hand, and those were usually ones aping the old show's routines.. Sandra Bullock's version of Mahnamahna for example.

Ugh it took me 8 times to watch it and i finally figure out how they did it: Its not two people syncing Gonzos in unison. At the :37 mark, the "reflection" gonzo jumps up a bit. Before that it was a mirror, than back to a mirror at 1:17. Still love the clip XD

I don't remember for sure, but Frank Oz voiced a number of characters including Gonzo. Jim Henson also voiced several characters befor his death.

Gonzo is voiced by Dave Goelz, Grover was voiced by Frank Oz - don't know who voices him now that Oz has left the series.

Grover is now performed by Eric Jacobson.

Frank still comes back on extremely rare occasions to perform him again, but Eric is pretty much his full-time performer now.
