  • Can see why the Beatles didnt stay too long in that shithole

  • Hare Krishna.... not Hara Christina... at least I think so

  • at 3:53 the narrator says something like: 'the result is a beautiful vacation, a meditation...no. But The Beatles are intelligent and...'' and I don't understand the rest wish I knew Italian

  • Yeah. It's definately the Hara Christina song. Hara Christina! Hara Christina! Hara Christina!

  • Too Much Mia!!

  • where's prudence on this vid?

  • i love this how cool Donovan all the Beatles and Mia Farrow aaah look at all the love and happiness thanks for sharing this makes me smile :)

  • >bigpaul1980: Many thanks for posting this!

    >TheBlueMarsupial: It´s "Yer bues" I believe.

  • When I was 17 Years old I was initiated in Goppingen Germany to TM. My teacher was German and her first name was Gertrude. She had a photo of her with Donovan and Beatles in her Hall of her home..

  • Hoping someone out there can help me with this - I had a 'campfire' set from the Beatles (all acoustic and from around the same year as this) on an old laptop that stopped working a couple of years back. I especially like one songbut can only remember a couple of lyrics. Its a bluesy piece - "cos im lonely, wanna die. yeah im lonely, wanna die.......lord know the reason why" quite bleak sounding :-/ but its got a nice groove on the guitar :-) Any thoughts?

  • Hard to believe the Beatles wrote the "White Album" in India, they must have been real board to put out 30 songs plus. John wrote "Child of Nature" there which he re-wrote as "Jealous Guy" in 1971 with the same melody.

  • BEATLES = LOVE...

Beatles were the FIRST group in history to introduce Indian sounds/music to the Western world!

Clearly evident in such songs as 'Within You, Without You', 'India', 'Dear Prudence', 'Norwegian Wood', and many others etc.

The BEATLES had a heart! I love their music! :)

  • @scyllaandcharybdis Not strictly true. The Yardbirds used sitar before them, but the recording wasn't released until later.

  • Blowin in the wind

  • The beatles flew to India in February1968, Ringo returned home after only ten days.. The maharishi had negotiated with abc-tv that the beatles would star on a show, Paul & George made it clear they would not participate..Paul & Jane Asher left shortly after.. it was then discovered that the Maharishi had been seducing young women, When John Lennon got back to England he said ''we made a mistake''.....

  • OK what do we do now? Oh... go sit in the Indian sun with our British skin & Martin guitars Right!

  • no offence to anyone but the Maharishi always creeped me out

  • I went to school with a Harry Rama...hmmmm

  • Che bello! Davvero interessante... Fantastici, come sempre i Beatles!

  • grazie per averlo postato, non l'avevo mai visto =D W i BEATLES!

  • Lol at 2:57 :P

  • @Cazarellagaia Ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha :'D

  • so is this Transcendental Meditation crap works?

  • Found it, Donovan-catch the wind. Thanks BP

  • You're welcome mate!

  • @wakerskate911 I prefer the rearrangement inspired by too much curry- "Break the Wind "

  • anyone know the name of the last song?

  • @wakerskate911

I'm assuming it's either Donovan or a Dylan song.

  • The first is a jam session of "Blowin in the wind", and the last another jam with the chords of "The times are changing". Dylans songs.

In the middle a tipical chant of "Hare Krisna".

  • @wakerskate911 "catch the wind" donovan

  • what a joke, all those rich people in India

with all the starvation and poverty, trying to

be cool and act like they are spiritual, a

long way to find nothing. God is everywhere.....honest

  • @crowehead1 fuck you if you don't like the beatles then fuck off and don't watch them asshole

  • Non l'avevo mai visto..grazie per questa perla!!

  • I wish people would allow months of that much peace of mind but we're all stuck working and all.... it looks so beautiful there, really. :]

  • i need to know what is played at 1;21

  • @millenniumguy1885

It's the Hara Christina song, George recorded it for one of his albums after the beatles

  • @bigpaul1980 the song is hare krishna but it's called Maha Mantra :)

  • India! the last golden place left from the ancient world! keep the yankee missionaries out of this sacred place!! they would destroy it all. all you would see is yucky dull grey suits and brainless heads with buzz cuts! blecch!
