You can hear the difference in the engines between the cars on the track for a particular feature. And there's no question that some teams have more power (and money) than the others. Then again, stick Schatz on any track on a night that he's "on," and he can't lose.

3/8 or 1/3 of a mile is big enough because when you go to those bigger tracks as a spectator 5/8 or 1/2 mile the cars look like ants.

this race should be on a 1/4 mile. This 1/2 mile racing proves nothing but who has the most money and the most horse power, not to take anything away from the outlaws because I race ASCS 360s and anyone who gets in a sprintcar is a badass, but the 1/4 mile tracks brings out the REAL drivers.

Not quite buddy, they all have different engines built by different builders with different parts. These engines are not equal. A lot of it is just who has the most money. Some engines just dont run like others.

@disturbed1420 And it's not that easy to have a more expensinve/more horsepower engine. The higher HP ones, like the ones with no skirt pistons, need to rebuilt that much more, compounding the costs of these expensive, higher horsepower engines.

Meyers wasn't the fastest at the end of the race and been overtake. May be he's tire get too much: It's easy to scrap tires on a sprint car.
