the way i try to make a song is set my rig and put the distortion on the making riffs with a few single notes and power chord.. trying to sound original isn't easy at all. I salute you Frederick!
very sad and passionate music. it was very kind of you to dedicate a composition to poor unlucky children who suffer and are not able to have a normal childhood. thank you guitarist
Frederic, this is so beautiful, and with that gorgeous little girl as a backdrop to the melody, brings me to tears every time. I did buy the music and I'm learning to play it, but it is a bit more difficult than it looks on paper! I love a challenge tho... Thanks for posting your videos. You are definitely one of my favorite subscriptions.
Thank you all for your comments. Always deeply rewarding to get your feedback. I knew the theme of this video would bring polemics about the war in Iraq. That was not my intention but it's logical. Everybody feels concerned by the barbarity, wherever it comes from. I don't pretend to own the truth on this difficult subject. But above that, there is something that should unite us all: children are innocent victims without any defense. This music was just to help our thoughts go to them. Fred
Thank you so much Sir. I'm baghdad's child myself and I believe I just remembered my childhood through that magnificent piece of music. I truly thank you
I love your feels. When i listening this melodi, i think "wrong note', bad before this words i look at the your face and want crying. Thanks for your feels. Sorry for my bad english, i'm from Russia.
Very emotional and very touching ,my child is a boy from that city and it touched me that you dedicate this piece to them ..thanks a lot for sharing !
wow, beautiful song man. I'm very happy that you upload these pieces. I am always excited to see a new item in my subscription box so, merci from Canada, c'est magnifique cette chanson!
I've been to Baghdad, and I must say that if that picture portrays that girl's age accurately, then I feel for her. This doesn't seem like a great time to be a child there, but who knows, she may learn many valuable life lessons and grow up tough and wise. . . if Islam doesn't ruin her, that is. (no offense)
@cbrusharmy All fanatic believers are bad, be it christians, islamist or "insert religion here" - they do not accept other truths than their own. It is important to accept that "truth" is an individual aspect as well as a global. Even when you say something wrong you're still taking true; "your truth" - and vice versa.
@LSLencrypted I can agree that all religious fanatics are certainly not helpful to society, unless their religion tells them to work hard and give their time and resourses to helping the poor and destitute, but how often do we see that? Anyway, the girl lives in Iraq, so Islam is the largest problem there.
@Xerxes4242 But not Canada's, eh? You're insane if you think these people were better off before. War certainly sucks, but it's not the worst game in town.
@elfwall Not exactly true. Generals, special forces units, and pilots certainly count, as does naval involvement. By the by, was it a couple Canadian snipers in Afghanistan, do you know, that got the record for farthest kill shot? Pretty cool.
@cbrusharmy Yeah it was Rob Furlong. He borrowed some advanced american ammo, and made an amazing shot. He has since been passed by a british officer named Craig Harrison though. Snipers are nearing the 2.5km mark. Rather mind blowing.
@Xerxes4242 You must be one of those people that believes absolutely everything you are told that is agreed upon by the drooling masses. Military presence over there isn't the best thing, but it certainly isn't the worst. If you expect me to believe that democratic military presence is worse than an absolute theocracy based on radical Islam, then you should try looking into it a little more.
@InFlam3sW3Trust I think over a million dead civilians would disagree with you. And calling me one of the "drooling masses" because I disagree with you? Anyways, I'd rather not get into this on Fred's page video.

Great musicians must play softly, smoothly but with dedication and rich details.
