Well it's just as good then LOL. Great job. Looks good, sounds good and responds well! I hope you're right, and they do bring one here. I had a 08 speed3 and traded it. Miss the turbo everyday. Now back with Honda. :(. Great cars but they are behind on the times! I really like the Audi/VW Line. The new golf R looks promising also!
@Hondahead03 thanks :) but its NOT really an RS3. I would love it to be!!! The Rs3 didnt was suppose to come to Australia but for compliance reason didnt :( So i made my own RS3 with some nice bit of go fast kit :) doesnt quite have the same look, but goes just as well. I believe the RS3 will come to US. Only Japan and Australia missed out on the RS3.
@killerkan666online way tooo much money sadly :( .... probably 30k all up Minimum.!!!!! Sadly tuning in Australia is a very expensive hobby and nothing is cheap because everything has to be imported from far away!
I'm a bit surprised to discover towo things: 1) I thought 380bhp were posible only with Stage 3, not Stage2+, impressive indeed. 2) That the car is a DSG version: ¿isn't pushing too much torque for the gearbox? For 380bhp I would bet for around 480Nm or so...
The car retains the stock K04 turbine? Impresive car, very fast, seems grippy and fun at the same time, very very nice overall. Good work.
@alamos8 yeh im surprised we're getting so much power out of the tune! Yes DSG version and it seems to be able to handle all the torque no worries. the software on the DSG has not been updated either. Just a stock standard Audi DSG tune. If we upgrade the software with a DSG tune.. the car will be even quicker! And it makes around about 550Nm Torque :) much more than 480 :) Stock turbo and yes the whole car is set up for track work specifically which is where this car spends most of its time :)
@robbyjai 550Nm!!! That's astonishing for a 2.0 engine with stock turbine. And the DSG handles it well... Now I feel a bit ridiculous thinking I was a bit worried about my 390Nm Stage 1 in my Scirocco 2.0 TSI DSG... lol
@robbyjai DSG still in good form? Sorry if I'm a bit tiring, but is that I find it impressive the torque you have, specially with a DSG box. Hope the car is still performing good.
@Philmen I think that that is the DSG version for the longitudinal engines, like the DSG in the Audi RS5. Altough the Ausi RS3 with its turbo'd 2.5 5-cyl transverse engine come with DSG... but I suspect it is not the same DSG box as the normal S3, as the RS3 comes with 7-speed box not 6-speed, and has 450Nm
@Porschefanatic100 you obviously know very little about cars dont you??? a BMW has 250hp. A RS3 as 340hp. As for m1 Coupe. the RS3 beats it in the vital statistics. you may want to do some research before you make a complete ass out of yourself :)
@mario206rc hi mario. The pSS10 can go much lower. But if its too low it wont work too well for me on the race track due to the fact i wont have enough suspension travel and would keep hitting my bump stops
@TheCarulez no updated haldex controller. just the stock standard latest generation haldex controller. I've set up the car specifically to over steer by installing thicker rear sways ... and setting up the suspension... to dial out the understeer
Hi mate, I'm a Revo dealer here in SA (vagtechnik.co.za). Pretty much all our Revo2+ S3s are running in the 12s bracket :-) Very impressed to see the Sportback doing the same. What settings are you guys running B F T on?
@RabidRabbit222 the settings we are running is 9 7 7. The car is capable of running faster if we can get a DSG remap. We still had the OEM Dsg setting which wouldnt let us launch at 4000-5000 rpm. Secondly we also had a cylinder misfire issue so that didnt help!
@Dcqwe the car has been reliably dynoed on 3 different dyno at 220kw ATW which is about 294whp.. and makes about 400Nm at the wheels which is about 295ft lbs torque at the wheels.
This equates to about 280kw (385bhp) and about 500Nm at the crank! It did how ever dyno lower numbers at the motor shoot out which was later diagnosed to be a misfire issue which is currently scheduled to be fixed!

Do you know your times for 0-200km/h? Just for comparing them with the stock S3 times. Thank you

i should actually say a BMW 130i only has 250hp. While a stock standard S3 has 265hp.
