This was released on an EP back in 2001 in case anybody was thinking this was something recent... There have been quite a few EPs featuring remixes that have generally escaped the ears of casual Zero 7 fans. I have to say that most fall short and pay little homage to the originals. I think this one in particular would be fantastic if Aquanote would drop the vocals altogether. They just aren't flowing well with the rest of his interpretation...

Has a good broken beat. Bass line is tight. Most of the critics are probably strict Zero 7 fans who aren't familiar with broken beat and the associated dance culture. This is a fairly well put together mix.

I disagree wholehartedly with those that claim to dislike this song. I'm as big a Zero 7 fan as anyone and I've loved the original version of this song for years... but this remix is beautiful and I absolutely love it. I think it's great and since I've listened to the original thousands of times, I'd much rather listen to this version. And for the record, I despise house music (for the most part... I actually like "deep house" music).

Right on. Dance has been a big part of house music from the outset. I've actually determined that roughly 70% of any genre is someone capitalizing on the originality of the other 30%, so I guess I don't really like house music either, or music in general, but the good stuff I really like.
