dapat ang christian matutong magbasa kasi kahit bible di nila nababasa na si Jesus is a prophet not a God according to the bible Matthew 21:11. I read the whole bible but Jesus never claimed as a God only Pastors and Priest claimed that He is a God. GAWA-GAWA lang ang CATHOLIC RELIGION and that is a good business for misguided people. saan ka mabasa ng christmas sa bible kahit ang december 25 wala yan sa bible.negosyo lang na relihiyon
I believe that the original Carmelites, and most orders of nuns for that matter, were Muslims. Many had the face coverings. The concept of devoted women was co-opted by the church when transported to America . The concept of seperation from men voluntarily was turned into the convent. Study the work of Theres of Avila in Spain who was at the cusp of the change. The Carmelites were originally in Palestine.

she was a nun, yes, but obviously not a carmelite nun. the habit she was wearing was not that of a carmelite. if you want to know more of the carmelite sisters, check saint theresa of avila or saint therese of liseux or saint edith stein.
Mashallah nice story. I grew up amoung nuns and the clergy, so seeing this video is beautiful. I too reverted from a strong catholic background. I too got that call, alhamdulillah.
Thank you for the information. Sorry it took awhile for the comments to be approved as you know we're not bots to be 24 hours waiting for a new comment to come ;) so please be patient for Allaah loves those who are patient :)
OK, here is my second attempt to post: It is nice for her that she is happy. God love her! But just to be picky (and truthful. I am sure that as a good muslim she would want to tell the truth), she was never a carmelite nun and never lived in a monastery. She was a teaching sister (not a nun) attached to a carmelite congregation (one that finds its spirit in the carmelite order). She probably doesn't even know that people are saying she was a monastic nun!
I see that is interesting. Yes ofcourse we prefer the truth. Thank you for that information however, we do not have control over the documentary. The important thing is that she embraced Islam and saw the truth.
I am happy for her that she has found peace. However, just to be a little picky (and truthful, which I am sure each muslim wants), she was never a carmelite nun nor did she live in a monastery. She was a teaching sister in a carmelite congregation. There is actually a difference.
Siguro, kung naging Muslim ang bansa natin, walang gulo sa Mindanao (Perhaps, if our country became Muslim, there's no conflict in Mindanao)... Siguro, pinahintulutan lang ng diyos na maging idolaters muna tayo (Maybe, God allowed us first to be idolaters)...
Nun and believing Muslim women have not much difference in their dress yet Muslim women who where hijab are considered to be oppressed by the Zionist media.
Allumdillah, god guides the people who are want to be guide!
The filliphines was ones a islamic country, convert to islam, when the heard of the message of islam. But where force to convert to christianity by the spanish. But is now coming back to the true path, inshallah!
My Allah bless her with happiness in this world and hereafter, ameen
