I dont think there was a dry eye across the world when this finale came on. I remember I lived in Minnesota and moved to Washington DC two shows before the finale. Every week my friends got together and watched Dawsons Creek. When this show came and I was by myself in my new home in DC I was just so sad because watching this made me miss my friends sooooo much.... I miss the good old days.... Being an Adult Sucks!!!
"I recognize a joey trance when I see it" YES SHE DOES! from the beginning Jen always knew of pacey and joeys relationship and how they felt about each other. when pacey was all in denial about his feelings for joey in season 3, it was jen who gave him the courage to face it. and when joey was confused, it was jen who pushed her to follow her heart. Shes always been a great friend to pacey, dawson, joey, and jack and will forever live in their hearts and in ours! Miss u Jen <3
I agree with the Fringe comment...I watched some last year, then lost track of it. You can see the last episodes of this season online at FOX...I've watched them over and over and now have to buy season 1 beacause I need to see what I missed (seas 2 comes out on DVD in Sept). FRINGE IS SOOOOO GOOD! I had to go back after watching the finale because I was like"wait...when did that happen?" They give a lot of clues...it's really an intelligent show...not condecending towards the audience.
i understand how Jen feels. I'm thirty and have two little ones. I inherited heart problems from my father, and the thought of dying while they're young scare the hell out of me, especially because their father isn't around. They'll have no parents. I truely understand her.
Wow, how could Jen do that video for Amy and not really cry a tear? lol Her voice cracks a couple of times but she was soo strong when she was talking. I guess she wanted her daughter to see her as a strong role model but that must of took a lot out of Jen to not break down. lol

You know, first loves aren't always the ones you're meant to be with. Sometimes, you are, but most of the time, they are just adolescent loves that aren't real and wouldn't be able to survive when they are adults. Like Dawson and Joey. Like Joey says, it's a love that is pure and innocent and he tied to her childhood. Their love is adult, it isn't real. It's just fantasy and childhood. What Joey has with Pacey is real and intense and passionate and they are meant tobe in a relationship together.
you know what i really hate when the writers make all the guys fall for joey i mean pacey and andie belongs together and this stupid triangle thing then comes and ruins it. i hate joey some times i hate that she always have to be the leading lady...and i love jen and andie more than her because jen she's so funny and her speech makes me cry all the time and i love andie because she believed in pacey and was his first love
i like that Jen has that panic attack about leaving her daughter (dying, really) because it's so much more real than 'okay i'm ready to die young' ...i've never faced imminent death, but I bet her "I'm angry... i'm so angry...i'm losing my sense of humor..i don't want to leave my daughter alone" is so much more based on real feelings than her joking about dying.
The video Jen makes for Amy and then when she starts crying about not wanting to leave her alone.. it's all so heartbreaking. I cannot imagine knowing I was dying and leaving my daughters motherless.
I'm crying because of jen's speech...I think that we should appreciate every second of our life...but often we forget all of this..we take care of stupid and ordinary things...so we can't savour the life and see its brigthfull colours...I always fail..I worries about the future but I have to learn to live only the present...
