I thought the my touch has 3 screens not 5 and I heard also that the home page can only be used in portrait mode not ladscape. Is that only in Europe and not usa?

That's true actually. This video was made with my phone running Cyanogen ROM, which expands the number of home screens and allows for landscape mode on home screen :).

The difference is cosmetic, as well as major hardware difference. There are two different phone boards used in HTC magic. 32a and 32b. 32a is only available overseas and has 288mb of ram, while the my touch 3g board is 32b and only has 188mb of ram. It really lags android up unfortunately, although, you do get better battery life with slightly better processor.

Yea, Nexus one is WAY faster than my touch. Night and day IMO, faster web browsing, better overall experience.

You mean the HTC Sense UI? Or just other apps? If so, some you can, others you can't. A lot of them are made for android 1.5 and not too many people really port them to 1.6. But, you can install a Hero ROM and make it identical to HTC Hero.

Yes, there's a way to unlock it to work on ATT. However, they are getting an android phone soon :).

Sure can. Most custom roms have it preloaded already but you can also manually push application called Loccy's Better Browser. It adds additional functionality to your browser and adds multitouch.

I am on Tmobile. I get 1500 minutes, unlimited text, unlimited web for 69.99. Their 3g used to be slow back when I shot the video. Nowdays I get about 2-3mbps down and 300-400up

Yea, but there is a way to unlock and increase the number. Advanced launcher is a home screen replacement app which allows you to modify it further. Most custom roms come with 5 home screens and ability to go landscape on home screen.

What do you mean? It discovers available networks you could connect to... You could connect to your own wifi, if you have on, or try discover open networks in the area I guess.

Oh wait I must've read it wrong on the description in T-mobile site and I thought when it meant hotspot I thought it meant wifi can be enabled if your going to pay $9 a month lol my bad. I guess it means if you want access to those hotspots like starbucks and etc you'll need to pay $9 a month right?

Yea, their hotspot service is basically wifi access in certain places. Although, right now, my 3g works just as well as WIFI in most cases, thus I do not see a need to pay $10 a month extra. At home I still use WIFI though.
