  • Small band, just like mine in high school. Good job guys.

  • The FFVII opening is not a piece that band can play well... Most of the FFVII themes really aren't...

    Try FFIII, FFVI, or FFXII

  • im making a marching band collection now.

check the blog to see it completed.

  • ROFL!!! I really can't beleive you guys would put Final Fantasy 7 music in a band!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DHS ROCKS!!! Final Fantasy 7 is my favorite game from all games I play. The band rocks. And that one song from the Shinra perade goes perfectly with band. xD I wish i can rate it 10 stars xD cuz that's so awesome!!!

    Greetings

    -Little Tony Robinson

  • I wondered what the ballad would be haha! Tifa's theme yes!! Love it!

  • I loved Rufus's Welcoming Ceramony XD that made my day!

  • :( Man I wish we had done Final Fantasy in my Marching Band....*sigh*

  • oh my gosh i wish i could play this music! thats amazing!!!

  • only one drum major? my school has 3 lol

  • that was my reply to what jazzdcurlyfries said......

  • drum major need to come up w/ a better salute

  • color guard isnt doing a good job of staying together.... my marching band can do so much better..... have more sectionals..... music sloppy

  • "Rufus's Welcoming Ceremony" piece was the only piece that actually sounded good in my opinion. The other pieces don't really fit for this type of band.

No offense to the band or anything. It's not like they didn't do a good job.

  • :D this is cool

  • woah... good music play and it hast to be the rufus welcoming ceremony...

  • is this in california?

  • Rufus' welcoming ceremony was the best in my opinion.

  • at 6:34 the colorguard girls drob their batons or whatever it is. their good but they could be a bit better

  • there is a problem with the colorguard syncopation. their all turing thir flag at like different times. ?????

  • holy crap

  • Well I like that you played FF Music. Sadly, the band is not that good so you really did not do the music any favors.

  • lol, and bombing mission is much faster

  • FUCK DT!! ITS ALL ABOUT CCHS!!!

  • Our high school is doing a FF show this year, it's awesome. I would say there are quite a few spacial relationship issues, and the tuning does need work. The colorguard also needed some practice. But still a good show. Our ballad is also Tifa's Theme, it just works. The show is called Helios by the Novi High School Marching Band, look for it at the end of november.

  • There are a lot of tuning problem.. but it's pretty awesome.. sadly i saw a lot of issues dealing with color guard... .... this was our dream at my high school.. our band director didn't listen thou

  • For me who played FF games, it's a VERY beautiful thing to be seen... xD

  • There visual effects are pretty good the tuning does need to be worked on, Im in high school mardching band and been doing if for almost 4 years and i say its pretty good, it was probably there first or second time doing it live so ya,the low brass are pretty good, we need to hear more of the trumpets and horns, they also need to watch there accendentals and phasing

  • im in marching band and i have to say they tried but the tuning and the visual show part of it was horrible. at least the tried:D

  • Did they tune up?

At least if they play FF music, they should make sure it sounds good. FF music is beautiful, we don't want it butchered. :P

I will give them credit for trying, though. ^_^

  • wow..this makes me feel drunk..

  • It was nice but really out of tune. Delano rocks when it comes to FF music but when playing outdoors it is really difficult to tune but I know they did better so I forgive them. ;-)

  • hey i have marched with cchs and we still tune outside no matter how cold it is. we make a tuning circle and we still sound good. we are the best highschool band in delano

  • thats what a marching band should do..... they always give you enough time to do that bec your instroment needs to be warmed up so that you can get a better tone..... good job CCHS

  • atleast they tried... i think?

  • It seems there are some intonation problems. I realize that a marching band will never sound like a concert band or an orchestra.. its just.. messy and badly out of tune. Good idea though.

  • this show had lots of potential, but the tifa theme was excuted poorly

  • at least its cool music.............

  • Nobuo is crying right now...

  • this sux so much..bad marching...butchering final fantasy music like that, for shame.

  • that was freaking cool!! the only things missing were Gilgamesh fron FFV, and One Winged Angel & Victory Fanfear from FFVII. other than that...it was great!

  • hey thx for posting this

its a cool thing that they were trying to do..playing ffvii

    haha

  • y did u post this the music stinks and so does the marching

  • CCHS is better!

  • HECK yea!

    ....CCHS?

  • hoooooooooooooooooly craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaap

is the band really that bad at marching, or is the drill supposed to look that bad?

  • I believe they're really that bad.

  • I didn't like it too much.

  • Yup sounds like a high school marching band ^^ with the few people that actually know their parts playing really loud ^^

  • Hi I was part of that band for freshman year. I didn't this would be on Youtube.

  • The truth I didn't liked it.

  • >.>

    *points to related videos*

that was what I was hoping would happen.

Since this is my most viewed video I hope that it's helped make people make more video posts with Final Fantasy music being played by bands.

This was the only video of its kind when i posted it.

    Go watch those too!

  • I loved that it was a ff piece. Music wasn't that great, but formations and stuff were fine i thought. I'm very dissappointed in you trumpets. And i only noticed at the end that the color guard it quite awful with rifles. it was enjoyable for me to watch though.

  • oh!!! intonation was horrific!

  • "we don't usually tune that much before shows or anything...or the sound quality sucks...either one. By the way, when I say "we", I mean just marching bands period ".... Our band does......

  • my band always spends like forever tuning. i think it is really just sound recordings and other technical stuff.

  • with that size of band you guys sounded good. probably would sound better live. GOOOO TIGERSSSS..i graduated 2001.

  • delano sucks ass cchs babay

  • cchs can suck my dick, just because it's newer than dhs does it make it better?

  • shiet..we've been better than you since our first year..but ok, i guess your 12 ppl band can beat our 100+ band...hahahahaha...20min later..hahahahahaha

  • Actually a small band can ROCK if it can blow and make solid formations. There are less spots for mistakes, so all the good things you do stand out. I remember a band that was only big enough to make one arch at the Desoto competition in Texas on year and they had a solid wall of sound because of the way the arranged and the fact that they had every player giving his all. They rocked, that small band.

  • Hey! I go to that school

  • there is a better FF piece done by LC, we have 150 people

  • I have to agree that it was a bit out of tune. >>; But it's pretty cool that you did a Final Fantasy piece. XD

  • it had to be mr. morison. slap your band . they were sooo out of tune . the songs you chose where all wrong . if i were you i would have chosen . those who fight. jenova. throw in some ffx and ffVIII liberi fatali. you should have done the arranged versions. marching band just cant get the whole sound of FF right :(

  • either the sound quality sucks or they are out of tune...

  • Well, for marching season, we don't usually tune that much before shows or anything...or the sound quality sucks...either one. By the way, when I say "we", I mean just marching bands period (I'm not in this band. I'm in the Kennedy High Shamrock Regiment.)

  • I was in this show because I was part of the colorguard. this was my freshmen year.

  • Wow! This was an awesome show. Much props to Your director, a personal favorite arranger of mine ^_^.

i love this show. Gives me chills.

  • They have much MUCH intonation problems and cracking a lot from their brass in general. Ive seen better... like Westfield 2005. They had an amazing renditon on some FF songs but also had some Eric Whitacre in it which was awesome.

  • It's awesome that they did a FF field show, but the marching needs work, they seem to have trouble reaching their sets. The actual playing leaves much to be desired.

And the above commenter their band is actually quite small compared to others.

How early was this in the season?

  • yeah, it is a small band, but i've marched with less (17-30). I agree, the playing is a bit off... This is a level 5 piece. Even if it was arranged specifically for their band, it's still a bit hard for this early in the season.

  • BAH!! I got tingles listening XD Kinda like when i did in The dear friends consert! ooo There band is huge O_O!!! OMFG SHINRA WELCOME CEMONY!!XD!! WOOT!!!! I got a grenade for it XD Woot for the chocobos XD

Eventually ECV! YOu guys we'll be this good XD.
