  • you can die driving a car with headphones on don't do it

  • You have changed so much :)

  • I recommend Sennheiser CX300 ii precision earphones, they're half the price and best the apple in earphones in sound, better bass and everything, but a word of caution (there are a lot of fake ones, like the co packaging model) :D

  • @marcz4100 i mean eco packaging...

  • Do you buy all the stuff you review for yourself?

  • I do 2 years now and they do go through a lot on full volume I love em there great only problem i have is im now only able to use the large caps as ive lost the others do slip out with waxy ears and i had to bluetak the buds on to stop them falling out sound wise they are great and i listen to everything + dubstep EQ my music so mine are louder and have much more bass then the presents that come on itunes i aslo wash the mesh caps like the manual says so warm soppy water and there good as new

  • lexus: prices, amazing

  • You sound country. Hahaha but now you don't.

  • Mark's accent has changed so much in 2 years :O

  • Not deep bass? I though the specs say it could go all the way to 7hz?

  • Sony Bumpin buds are just as good or even better, very comf and are only $20 at Target :D

  • Man this is old school soldier

  • Apple In-Ear Headphones: $79

Sony MDR 7506 (Professional Studio Monitoring cans): $99

That is an outrageous price for earbuds.

  • @DeadBabyJesus The Apple in-ears have 2 balanced armature drivers on each side, Balanced armatures drivers are allot more expensive than your usual Dynamic driver. Balanced armatures sound pretty cold and analytical too, these earphones have a nice flat frequency response too. Yes the price is a bit expensive but for around 40-50 dollars you can get a refurbished pair of these. The Sony headphone is obviously allot better because its a headphone not an in-ear.

  • you're great!

  • so all apple headphones are poor quality for money spent. You can get much better headphones for the same price if you decided to not get apple.

  • $80!?! I bought mine for $30 at the Apple store...

  • @Elementaleader

you bought the low end ones

  • He soldier i was wondering if you could give me these Apple In Ear headphones and i would pay shipping please

  • I've had these headphones for a couple years. They still have the same quality now as they did back then, which was, and still is quite good. My main complaint is that the earbuds slip off way too easily and I've lost one. Overall, your paying mire for the brand than the quality, look for another quality pair of headphones to drop your 80 bucks on. I'd recommend the klipsch image s4

  • I like this review, I think you seem very confident and good at reviewing. I personally prefer on ear headphones as you really get a feel for your music that way.

  • I just bought the in-ear headphones and I'm going to return them because the bass quality for sound is horrible. They sound like pure treble which I can't stand. I use them for my iPhone which I use not only to talk but to listen to my music as well so They are def. a HUGE let down for me. NOt worth the price.

  • I have the creative ep-630 and those headphones are super loud and with great bass for only $25 on Amazon. I highly recommend them. BTW, Soldier you changed a lot over the last 2-3 years.

  • I thought these were new...

  • @AnArousedPanda No, DON'T... Dr Dre only cost so much because it is Dr Dre and the ''Beats'' logo!

  • broke 4 pairs of apple headsets in 2 months. FUCK YOU APPLE!

  • Hey great vid!! I know why the left ear wirked and the right didnt. I have these headphones and since it has the remote it sometimes needs an adjustment. Try twisting the part that goes in the audio out jack and it will be better.

  • I got a pair of sony in ear headphones for $17. That is, without the remote or mic, but it's still the same quality.

  • soldier really knows best!!! excellent review mate.

  • i like the standerd headphones my friend has these headphones and i think the standerd are better

  • Comment removed

  • I've had these and they last me about a month. Now I'm using the Beats By Dr.Dre Tour edition and i love em

  • 79 for a headphone? way overprice!!!

  • @Angkorian519 some headphone cost about $400 and people still buy it

  • @Angkorian519 In my country (Estonia) these headphones cost 90€ (Apple Premium Reseller price) like what the hell? :D

  • if your going to spend 79 on headphones (a medium price) then get beats by dre.

  • @AnArousedPanda Especially since Beats By Dre are only $120 more expensive... Yeah sure. Beat's by Dre are way overpriced.

  • ANYTHING is better then the apple accessories, and the ibeats are 99 and MUCH better then the terrible apple headphones.

  • @AnArousedPanda Yes apple accessories are terrible, all I'm saying is that the next best thing is not the Beats. There are heaps better headphones at $80. Beats aren't the best headphones for their price.

  • very true,ex bose

  • @AnArousedPanda lol Beats by Dre are over priced, WAY overpriced, MUCH better headphones for the price.

  • @darren4a1 Yes they are. I got the IE2 Bose inear, there so much more confortable than the ibeats.

Anywho, id NEVER get the apple in-ear headphones, there expensive also because of the name.

  • @AnArousedPanda what if i told you i got mine for $30? is tht good?

  • @kalef1234 i guess, but then again, you can prob get somthing better for around 50 bucks

  • nice t-shirt

  • Beats tours white, got them a couple of months ago and they're amazing! Best in ear phones ive ever listened too. I also listened to the beats solo's HD and the tours beat them, If anyone wants to buy some good quality headphones i fully recommend the tours. They are slightly pricey but worth every pound...

  • @proshark08 ive heard the regular solo's before and they suck for the money. they're worth about 40% of the full cost

  • The scrubbing on this vid keeps stopping at the first half min. Can you adjust ?

  • ive had these in the past, broke within 4 days, which i do not expect for the price, where as the the cheap pait i bought to replace them a stop gap cost me like £10? and lasted for a year of nearly every day use

  • I use V-Moda Vibes they're nice the highs sounds amazing on them they have just enough bass and the mids are ok.

  • Did you mention a problem with the sound going in one phone with the mesh on? I have this problem on the right phone, with the mesh cap on there is a very dull, muffled sound but when i take the cap off it sounds perfect, it also happens with both spare mesh caps. Any idea what causes this?

  • 12 people hate black people. probably asians

  • @Sassymui8 maybe the guy who said it is white

  • @Sassymui8 ........wtf?

  • @Sassymui8 what the fuck? i'm asian asshole and i love this guy...

  • @dangitstwang You are brown Arab.. technically they are not asians

  • @Sassymui8 uhm... i'm chinese.

  • @dangitstwang you are Arab

  • Visang R03 for 49 dollars :)

  • i think about the in ear or normal headphones what do you mean ?

  • i think about the in ear or normal headphones what do you mean ?

  • I'm looking to replace my sennheiser cx500, do you think these apple ones would be a good upgrade? would I notice a sound quality difference with two drivers?

  • SkullCandy ink'd headphones, great quality sound loud and clear. Verry good bass. Only 20 dollars. GREATEST HEADPHONES EVER!!!!!

  • i got headphones like this by skullcandy and they worked great but broke after a month:(

  • I Love my Sennheiser CX-200 :)

  • Sennheiser is the top brand....

  • Just a tip for those who have this is that I've found when you don't connect the buds fully into the headphone mic THEN put it into your ear, it fits more snug and cuts out more external noise.

  • I use Bose Ie2

  • @Ipodfanz97 bose sucks horribly

  • pause at 3:28 while he's saying they *I* noise in silent. His eyes are almost closed and he's smiling weird.

  • I usually like the reviews, but this one odnt even mention the controls found on the wire. they are simple but count as an added feature that made me get them. Very nice sound, didnt blow me away, but it does have a nice tone and isolation and were the only set to fit my ears under 100 bucks

  • evrytime im about to buy something i always go to you to see if its good because you have evrything and you give the best reviews and your a really nice guy thankyou for all the help

  • I got these earbuds by Apple, and I think these are very very good earbuds. It is very crisp with excellent treble, and alot better then the $130 skull candy and the $200 senheiser that Ive got. Im no Apple fanboy, I just believe that these earbuds are worth the price and it comes close to $300 earbuds like shure. However, Shure is still the king, hands down.

  • Yes ... I don't have to listen to my brother any more lol

  • Bought the /B newer version last week after my ancient Sony Fontopia headphones bit the dust. Ive got to say im ultimately disappointed with them. Physically theyre great, nice quality, comfy, excellent sound isolation etc, but they have a 2 huge problems for me.

Most importantly, the bass is virtually absent, excellent mid tones, but bass guitars and drums may as well not be in the music.

Secondly the short cable. Im 6'3", the cable *just* reaches my ears from my jacket pocket.

  • You are the best reviewer.

  • AKG.. not these

  • Also, Hows the cable been holding up? I'm a bit concerned about that because near all the connections it seems to have the same quality as the cheap stock iPod earbuds.

  • I've lost a few rubber/foam tips from earphones because they came off to easily, sometimes from some pretty expensive earphones. Do you think they come off so easily in these ones that they might come off accidentally in your pocket?

  • @tipoomaster the apple in ears come with a nice little plastic case thaat is convinient and easy to use and while they are in there you will most defenitely not lose the tips, although if you dont use the case you may lose the tips.

source: ive had them for years.

  • Jesus Christ guys.... he is just doing a fucking review. -.-

  • i bought these headphones and i had to switch down to the smaller ear buds. within a week, the left bud came out, however, i managed to find them again. i went through the process of losing and finding the bud several times.

the sound quality is poor for the price, mainly because they offer little to no improvement over the standard headphones

they are way overpriced, and now way would i have even considered them if they werent a gift.

Dont waste your money, look elsewhere

  • Question: My father got a Nokia and he bought some kind of in-ear headphones with it. He said he didn't like it because it kinda feels as if it is sucking your brains out. Now I tried it and I have the same impression. Is it because of the quality or they are all supposed to be like that? I am really not willing to spend €79 on something that doesn't feel good. How did it feel for you? Answer please!

  • @robertdevald quality headphones like Shure, UE, etc. all do that. I'm guessing it's because of air-pressure difference.

  • @brianryu87 Thanks for your answer. I guess I will stay with my good old Philips headphones.

  • arse, dont review headphones

  • I just tested my new Apple in ear:s against my Sennheiser CX 300-II. The bass in the apple phones SUCK!. If you first listen to the sennheiser:s, the apple phones are like... nothing. really disapointed, but you pay apple for the design I guess.

  • @DatOldMilk They're not bad. I have 2 Pairs... the V-Moda Bass Freq which had good bass going for it and thats it. and the Vibe which had overall good sound. I recommend either and can be found on eBay for less then $15.

  • I bought those headphones with my first iPod (the 4th gen shuffle) and the sound blew me away... i used to listen to all my music on my G1 and i used Bubble Gum headphones and i was getting tired of the horrible sound and they broke really easily. So i finally decided to spend a few extra bucks on some liegit apple headphones and i was decide between getting 3 pairs of the standard head phone or 1 in ear i chose the in ear and i am really satisfied. Anyways awesome review and keep upthegreatwork

  • Hi, I've lost those soft things that goes in to the ears, so no i can't use them! Is it possible to buy just those soft things? Please answar!

  • @mjsr4 just take a visit to the apple store they will give you some extra little silicone tips for FREE! (at least for me >_>) i didn't really lose the pieces but they started to change to a yellow color because i use em for my work out. So have fun :)

  • Hi, I've lost those soft things that goes in to the ears, so no i can't use them! Is it possible to buy just those soft things? Please answar!

  • i think apple should buy you bose and use their technology since apple headphones SUCK MAJOR ASS!

  • I laugh at those who say that Skull Candys are good earphones. I've owned them all! Skull Candy, Philips, JVC, Bose, Shure, V Moda, Altec Lansing... (currently own 10 pairs) and the best i've come across for the money are the Klipsch S4i (rated CNET's best earphones and one of top 10 must have gadgets) Bought them on eBay for $70 and they sound absolutely amazing; stunning. Comparable to $300 sets.

  • @guillermo68480 Consumer Reports reviewed in-ear headphones, and they also recommended the Klipsch Image S4i.

These had "Very Good" sound quality:

    Klipsch Image S4i ($100) 76/100 overall rating

Monster Heartbeats by Lady Gaga ($95) 76/100

Altec Lansing BackBeat Titanium UHP326 ($30, $20 on Amazon) 71/100

    Monster Turbine High Performance In-Ear ($140) 66/100

These only had "Good" sound quality:

    Bose In-Ear Headphones ($95) 56/100

    Apple In-Ear Headphones with Remote & Mic ($80) 51/100

  • I have a pair of $40 Sony in-ear headphones and i say they sound great. You can find them at any wal-mart. I listen to alot of system of a down, korn, linkin park, seether and so on.... and they seem to satisfy me. i believe that like most apple products they are way overpriced. Hey Apple Lower the price and they might be worth it

  • I LOVE MY SKULLCANDIES!!!

  • Fantastic review. Thank you.

  • In the UK you can get them from Tesco for £24.97 // $39.00 so in the UK there probaly worth it...

  • I actually would recommend these headphones. You just have to make sure your ears are clean and you wear them not too far in or not far enough. I am happy with purchase.

Durability maybe could be better. My father has some LE headphones (comparable price) and the wire and everything does feel a little more solid. But very close sound.

  • hey bro how would you compare these with the apple standard headphones, 5 to these and like 2 for the standard

  • i have now agk k 370 and i love them.

  • i recommend the Klipsch Image S4 headphones, there more comparable to bose only with crisper highs and there 80 dollars not 100

  • ah, isn't it illegal to drive with headphones on?

  • @tjc450 I just bought a pair off eBay for 2$!

  • apparently the largest size buds for these isnt large enough to get the full effect of bass so you need buds from different headphones to make them great. i'll probably take the buds from my crap skullcandys that broke on me recently

  • You can get em off ebay for about $30 bucks

  • @theeforbiddenapple dude i totally agree wid u i also use shure n there sound quality is amazing!!! its very LOUD!!! they re cool!

  • Skullcandy is in Utah, so they have got to be good. They are my favorite brand. They even have a Deron Williams series!

  • $79??? i got mine for $1.99 on ebay

  • @kirsion Companies make nockoff ones that are almost the same looking, and most all of the ones on ebay are those.

  • I personally don't mind the original headphones that came with the iPhone 3GS, the base is rich, the highs are highs, and the mids are mids. Nice sound. I just couldn't stand it popping out of my ear. I decided to spend a lil more on the in-ear version of the Apple headphones. I was sorely disappointed. The highs were nice, and the mids sounded fine, but the base...no where near the richness of the original. It's like comparing a solid thud to a knuckle tap. What a waste of $90.

  • good review! good thing i saw your video coz i was seriously looking into buying one...

  • Try not to bend that bottom part of the cord (the spot right above the thing that connects to the audio jack. I think that's why one side doesn't work sometimes. It happened to my standard headphones, too.

Great review! It liked how detailed it was.

  • i bought the apple in-ear lol no choice for me i want the mic and volume control lol if i bought other it wont work for me i love the unique way of apple

  • Actually Skullcandy FMJ's work with apple iphone 3Gs( probably the 3g and maybe 1gen but i never had either) they have a mic and it works with Iphones, Blackberry curves and the Storm as advertised on the box... I bought older FMJ's which didn't have a mic so i decided to buy a pair of these and by i tell you skullcandy makes the best quality headphones out there in the market.. I had my old FMJ's with out a mic and they lasted me a year and a half..b4 these i went through headphones like crazy

  • and since there is a 500 character limit i will simply add on saying Skullcandy FMJ's do have a mic and you can pause and skip and reverse music but you don't get a volume control

  • I never had the Apple In Ear Headphones but I do like my own headphones. There the JVC (HA-FX33) Mushrooms. There also a in-ear headphone, cancels 75% - 80% (I would say), 8-23,000Hz Frequency Response. There just awesome. AND THEY CAST $20!!!

  • niceee, i got them to (fake) bought them for 9,99 euro

    no mic etc,

  • lol your a cheap person..... buying fake product lol loser

  • Great review! I'm really thinking of buying these, think they'll work fine under my helmet when riding my bike. A lot of engine sound and wind that comes through when using the originals.

Are there any other alternatives that has the hands-free feature in this pricerange? I'm not looking to spend 150$ on headphones just to get an isolated headphone with hands-free for when riding but I'd like something better than the original ones. These might be it.

  • nice review man. im buying a pair

  • at if the sleeve got stuck it ur ear

  • The only headphones I use are skullcandy. They are not very expensive, and the sound is great. They also cancel noise very well. I found a pair of the ink'd skullcandy headphones for six dollars at Ross. It was a pretty random place to finde them, but 6 dollars is definitely a great price, and the headphones are decent.

  • Yeah and maybe they work well for you but for millions of people that have bought skullcandy, they say they suck because quality wise. The ink'd jack has a plastic instead of silicone and it starts to tear at the silicone for the copper wiring and then it shorts out very very quickly like maybe 2 or 3 months. I've used skullcandy before and i'm a tech type of guy and i personally hate skullcandy, but their sound is decent

  • You're a true dumbass. 7 MONTHS IS NOTHING for headphones, they shuold last at least 1 year. Some are faulty so not all of them last 1 year but the ones that are not are suppose to. Skullcandy the company it self is rated low, with good sound but quality wise no so much. I take care of my headphones very much, and i take it off the ipod when i put them away, i wrap them around my hand and then put them in my pocket. My wires don't fray, they short out and stop working

  • I didn't fucking say they ONLY lasted 7 months, now did I? I still fucking have them and they're still fucking great. I seriously doubt they'll fail on me any time soon. And plus, I'm getting either the Apple In-ear Headphones or the Radius Atomic Bass In-Ear headphones in like a week anyways so it doesn't matter...Probably just going to give them to my brother.

  • get Bose headphones.problem solved

  • Comment removed

  • damn your dumb, they call it skull candy because the music is candy to your skull. RETARD

  • Comment removed

  • better brands like bose - YEAH RIGHT

BOSE = Buy Oher Sound Equipment

btw there are no in-ears shipping with the iPhone, just the normal plugs, so I'm not sure what you were comparing.

  • there are now actually but i was talking about the built quality the ones that come with the iphone lasted for 3 months aprox and one of the ear pieces got loose, i have had the bose for 8 months now and still like news, plus if you have them you should know what i am talking about

  • Oh my gosh! It's do difficult to understand him! Did he say it DOES come off "tahme to tahme"?

  • His nails are soo ... Healthy !!!

  • hahahaha! MEANNN!!!

  • Soldiers have to be well groomed and presentable, so I think they tend to have good hair, teeth and nails...for the most part. I'm sure there are a few pigs, just like anywhere else.

  • i have these head phones and their not worth it. if you want the remote feature. apple sells the regular pare with the remote for about 30 bucks, i personally think they sound better than the in ear ones.

  • I listen to rap, how the bass on this

  • soldier stays with new gear

  • :D yiu have a lot of money^^ here in germany, the iphone is much more expensive because the price of the flatrate is higher now. first XS: 60 € (~80 $) and now 160 € (~220 $)

thats because i want to win the iphone!

    thanks!

  • jop alta ich hab mir gerade ein iphone 3gs gekauft ist voll billiger in Amerika.

  • they sell them for 80 near me

  • Bose? Skull Candy? Your joking, these 2 are the most overrated companies to offer any audio gear. Skull Candy = The most bloated exaggerated bass even worse Sennheisers. Bose..Those folks smokin magic shrooms with their inferior products & expensive marketing tactics to brainwash idiots like KillSwitch2170. If you really want quality then go for reputable names like Shure & Westone. I use Shure SE530 and yes its expensive, but i've had them for 2 yrs and have no regrets with their sublime SQ.

  • @theeforbiddenapple I actually have a pair of modded HD555s, and the bass on these headphones isn't overpowering at all (and that's not just because of the mod.) The bass is very smooth, moderate, deep, and powerful only when it's supposed to be. Not sure what you're on about, but you're probably talking about some of their other models. If you haven't listened to Sennheiser's Audiophile line (all open-ear), don't make judgements on them. ^_^

  • @theeforbiddenapple people get skullcandy because not everyone wants to/can spend 500 dollars on a pair of headphones. of course a pair of 40 dollar skullcandies won't be better than your 4 or 500 dollar shure headphones, thats pretty blatantly obvious

  • @theeforbiddenapple what about monster?

  • @pokemon2487 monster and beats are actually good

  • @chargersfan1111 they are overpriced for what they are (u pay for the name) iow u can get a lot better for the money

  • @theeforbiddenapple Man i love the base in the SjullCandys !!!

  • If your looking to buy amazing headphones for around $100 dont buy the apple ones get Bose they are much better and are only $130 a little pricey but they are very good i havent had any problems and they fit great with 3 different sizes. Bose's bass is very good but they do have a more acoustic. If $130 is too price get skullcandy in ears very good and have ear shaking bass for around $30 - $70. Overall they are both a great choice but apples are alittle expensive for wut u get.

    Your choice

  • Yeah EXACTLY1!!

  • I just can't use in ear phones. Can never get an air tight seal on the left phone, which tends to fall out after a few minutes. Always have to use regular full over the head phones.

  • get the monster turbines there 100$ but they sound waaaay better then what youd think 100$ cheap headphones would sound

  • I bought the standard ear buds with the remote and mic but the left bud didn't work so I took it back and got the Bose in ear headphones and they r insaneee

  • i have these $15 skullcandy headphones that i got about half a year ago. the sound was kinda hollow sounding and weird and i couldn't hear the bass very well, but i still used them. recently, i realized that i could change the silicone buds, as i had been using the smallest size. i switched to the middle sized earbuds and the music was crisp and clear music and the bass was clear as i could hope. i guess i just saved 40+ dollars

  • @ninjaboy552 SkullCandy sucks

  • i have these and the same thing with me...i expected a lot more...they are ok but not the best....they actually schoked my right ear i dont know why but they did.....JBL reference 220 are a GREAT set of headphones, they are the same price and they are actually worth it way better than the apples

  • Sennheiser in ear buds are king! But I also have the Bose in ear buds and they work 10fold better than the stock ones you will get with any iPod. Good review, I must try these.

  • I had the Appe In-Ears and they were ok, but I lost them so i saved up for a new pair and got the Etymotic HF5s at an amazon sale for 100$ and they are amazing, much better then the Apples

  • I think these are great but they are a little overpriced. For the amount they areselling u can probably get equal or better ones. I have had these for 5 months and only 2 issues. The earbuds will slip out if u don have the right size on. Plus apple won't send u a new set if u lose the buds. Another problem is when the volume occassionally goes up dramatically when u plug it in to an iPod or something. This is a great product but u could probably find something equal or better for the price.

  • if there are any company's out there watching this video... i love reviewing things like ipod cases and headphones like the one he is reviewing !

so if you want a review from me just message me !
