It was reported in the media that she had been experiencing headaches for several weeks before her death but did not seek medical attention. WOW! Listen to her vocal chords when she hits those high notes! Great voice. She has a REAL voice, not the screeching cat sounds of some of today's artists who can't obviously hold the notes and need the studio doctored backup help. Listen to some of the singers live and you'll know what I mean. Missing this kind of talent and music!

Laura Branigan is my all time favorite it is some what heart breaking to see videos now that she is no longer with us. I had the pleasure of seeing her in concert she actually invited people to come on stage and hug her to bad that I was in the section she didnt call on. But thats the kind of person she was a a beautiful soul and voice to match.

I remember heading to a meeting and when I got there they were surprised I was there cause they had heard the news of her death and thought I would just leave work that day (fortunately or unfortunately they confused my love of pat benatar for laura) while I didn't leave work for Laura's death I did play all my 33's and cds that night cause I loved her too. He was the founder of Atlantic Records...he told me her never heard a voice so pure like hers in his lifetime.& he rerecorded musical legends...She was taken too soon from us...She did have an amazing voice....RIP Laura..Ill never forget the sweet song you sang to me when I was young...Thank you foe everything...God Bless you..you are amongst the angels now sining with them..
