RAF Fairford is in Gloucestershire. Its between Kempsford and Horcott just off the A417. I lived there in 1980 & 81 when the Yanks flew KC-135 tankers out of the base.
maybe you should check it all and get informed of the significant differences in the programs between the 2 teams .

OK. I'm sorry for saying this, and I know that I'mma sound like an asshole because they both could of died.
But how do you take two VERY, VERY easily handled aircraft, both very small and very handable, easy to dodge each other, and collide them WITHOUT doing it on purpose? Lol, that's the biggest fail I've seen.
One of the pilots most likely made a simple and fairly minor misjudgement. At those speeds and considering they were displaying rather than just flying normally, it's not much of a stretch for a tiny error to turn into a massive one. They were probably aiming for a shockingly close pass - they certainly achieved the shocking part.
But there is still the possibility that this wasn't a stunt. If it was, then it fully explained the radical flying techniques. This was just a bad decision for a stunt.
However, this teaches us a lesson. Your balls don't always lead you to the right decision.
im an air cadet from the UK and one of my CI(civilian instructors) told me he watched this and he heard that one of them slapped the other after that.(doesnt sound true i know but this CI doesnt normally lie)

Since Afghanistan, USSR/Russia hasn't had big air force movements... whereas USA has had endless conflicts since Vietnam... And all those Migs being shot down are from other air forces.. Not USSR/Russia's... In fact.. In this war, Russia lost it first aircraft in more than 30 years in a non-accidental way..
I agree i feel more empathy for pilots than when i see any other person injured because you are aware right away that the pilot is a trained educated and obviously intelligent person, and had a lot of responsibility. I don't want to see any pilots killed from any country =(
Try not to overgeneralize. Intelligent, doesn't mean wise, and some of them aren't responsible enough, some are arrogant. Some of them are pilots thanks to f.e. familly connections within high ranks in first place. But they are the most important element in air forces. They will be priority target for enemy. You can always buy/build new planes, find replacement for personnel, but there's no easy way to replace many years and huge amount of money spent on pilots training.
And I was one of the 3 Belgian Air Force C-130Hercules crew members who were sitting on top of there Herc !!! The Mig passed 45 feet above our heads and ripped our rh elevator of the plane. Regards to all "Fonz" Flight-Engineer C-130 retired and still a live and kicking !!

Wasn't it the Frecce Tricolori that killed 70 spectators in Ramstein and 3 of there own pilots.
Doesn't sound all that skilful to me.

Yes, the Ramstein incident due to a collision between 2 planes , sadly killing 70 people. It happened in an Airshow as people were standing too much close to the fly area , which fortunately didn't happen to Red Arrows in their incidents before & after 1988.
Better, in their many incidents killing several people ( not just one ) , so what sounds unbelievbaly pathetic is your one way argument about incidents , 'cos you should check respective lists and just be smart enough to shut up .

I remember this I was 7, stood about 400 meteres from the barrier in front of a static apache gunship. I heard one of the pilots broke the others jaw when they were being checked at the hospital.

But how do you take two VERY, VERY easily handled aircraft, both very small and very handable, easy to dodge each other, and collide them WITHOUT doing it on purpose? Lol, that's the biggest fail I've seen.

One of the pilots most likely made a simple and fairly minor misjudgement. At those speeds and considering they were displaying rather than just flying normally, it's not much of a stretch for a tiny error to turn into a massive one. They were probably aiming for a shockingly close pass - they certainly achieved the shocking part.

4 pilots? Mig-29 is a single seater. There were two pilots ... one per aircraft. and yes, they both were able to eject.

But there is still the possibility that this wasn't a stunt. If it was, then it fully explained the radical flying techniques. This was just a bad decision for a stunt.

im an air cadet from the UK and one of my CI(civilian instructors) told me he watched this and he heard that one of them slapped the other after that.(doesnt sound true i know but this CI doesnt normally lie)

Bad Equipment??? Excuse me?? You are really blinded by American propaganda or what? Look dude, both USA and Russia have bloody fine equipment and pilots, you can't judge which is best... Americans have F-22, but Russians are going to get their PAK FA a little bit later, but as cheap as F-35 and as good as F-22... So you can't make that quick judgment without knowing the equip well.

However, I do recall numerous Migs being shot done with against American fighters...Maybe it's just bad aircraft or bad pilots, either way the outcome is the same.

Well I CAN recall many times during this last war... Russia only lost 1 aircraft, and Georgia lost almost all the air force... Besides.. Since Afghanistan, USSR/Russia hasn't had big air force movements... whereas USA has had endless conflicts since Vietnam... And all those Migs being shot down are from other air forces.. Not USSR/Russia's... In fact.. In this war, Russia lost it first aircraft in more than 30 years in a non-accidental way..

I agree i feel more empathy for pilots than when i see any other person injured because you are aware right away that the pilot is a trained educated and obviously intelligent person, and had a lot of responsibility. I don't want to see any pilots killed from any country =(

Try not to overgeneralize. Intelligent, doesn't mean wise, and some of them aren't responsible enough, some are arrogant. Some of them are pilots thanks to f.e. familly connections within high ranks in first place. But they are the most important element in air forces. They will be priority target for enemy. You can always buy/build new planes, find replacement for personnel, but there's no easy way to replace many years and huge amount of money spent on pilots training.

And I was one of the 3 Belgian Air Force C-130Hercules crew members who were sitting on top of there Herc !!! The Mig passed 45 feet above our heads and ripped our rh elevator of the plane. Regards to all "Fonz" Flight-Engineer C-130 retired and still a live and kicking !!
