If this is the Deep Creek I know, and it looks very familiar, the name's Deep Creek, and it's a deep creek. In spots 15' deep and 8' across. It is about a 5 to 7 mile hike in. A native rainbow trout area. Barbless hooks and no bait. Down from Lake Arrowhead, up from Deep Creek Hot Springs, eastern San Gabriel Mountains, north side. Some of this water runs into the Mojave River. Try rock hoppin' barefooted along the way. Boatloads of hand size panfish. Eat these & release the trout. Local info!!
@legoman844 Give your head a shake. Barbless hooks are becoming the law more and more. If you have any skill you'll still catch just as many fish with barbless hooks.
it was alright we have a little creek bout a mile away from my house an a huge river leads into it the creek is about 7 feet wide an about 29 ft deep an ive got a 5 foot gar on a jig it was amazing
I have fished this exact hole! Good hike to get in there. I waded to the other side and got up on the rocks and fished the run on the other side of the rock in the middle. There are some good browns in that water too. I was all on the fly. Thanks for using barbless hooks! Tight lines.
