  • Lol, this is crazy... so much garbage on the internet just pops up even on kids sites. My boys are 10 & 14. Both can use internet for trusted youth gaming sites, educational sites, and research. Neither are allowed to have their own email or facebook. I told them when they reach a mature age and self controll level to drive the real highway I will allow them a free roam on the information highway as well, not before.

  • As young as he could be. Life is not meant to be easy and his education starts NOW.

  • Many parents got 'left behind' even graduating just as computer programs were becoming available in school, so that feeling is somewhat justified. Still, parents have to inform kids, as you mentioned, as to what they're seeing and what it means. Instilling values is really important, and hopefully those values will be reinforced on whatever site they visit and with who ever they interact with. My site, HH, hopes to reinforce those solid values on a P2P level within a gaming 'have fun' format.

  • Well PBS isn't too bad of a website. Have not seen a whole lot advertised to buy except Sesame Street. She plays other games like 'Word Girl' and 'Martha Speaks'. Some preschool coloring pages are around online. I watch her play online. Just have a cautiousness that should be given any time on the net.
