I agree with them on nuclear power, bad idea, you have to much trust in human nature and reliablity. humans are limited in their ability to harness and control resources like nuclear energy without having accidents and problems, look at the constant oil spills. they should leave nuclear power out of the picture. it is more deadly than oil. I am sure solar panels will improve over time. I would rather use oil then have landscape covered in ugly and animal killing windmills.

uugh, you keep presenting all these strawman arguments and false dichotomies. You completely ignore the advances in wind and solar so you can decide they will never work.

Energy density? That was a nice argument when it only took the energy of one barrel of oil to produce 100 barrels. That's why oil made sense up till now. Now when you can get the equivalent. of 20:1 from wind it makes 3:1 oil just plain stupid.

The economy is about to collapse, our gov't is now a mafia, the Dow is a casino....AND ALL YOU CAN BABBLE ABOUT IS WHETHER WE SHOULD CELEBRATE EARTH DAY??!!!!

You guys don't have a clue about what's going on out there, do you?! We're GOING to run out of oil- I think we'd better use that "huge amount", whether it's unwieldy or not, cuz it's gonna be all we have.
