  • Wonderful, as your videos always are.

    What is the music?

  • Isaiah 52:

11(U) Depart, depart, go out from there;touch no unclean thing;go out from the midst of her; purify yourselves, (V) you who bear the vessels of the LORD.12For you shall not(W) go out in haste, and you shall not go in flight,

13Behold,(Z) my servant shall act wisely;[a] he shall be high and lifted up, and shall be exalted.

14As many were astonished at you— ,

& his form beyond that of the children of mankind—AC) kings shall shut their mouths because of him

  • hypnotic.

  • Thanks very much for watching, Raphaelus (great name by the way)

  • Yes,,the simple things we all take 4 granted.. we may live-on through our children.. the smell of autumn leaves.. laughter of a child..and the unconditional love we receive from our pets...,just a few of many....,Great video... impressive work.. Ciao

  • There's always sleighs & Dog sleds:)

  • True that ;)

  • Progress is a double edged sword; there are a lot of times I'd just as soon go back to horses (or a good mule).

  • Horses sound good to me right about now. No wait, after winter :)

  • The Production is very good. I shall pass it on to three other artist's: ChangeDaChannel, SharonKnight, And the production crew of Partum Landings. you can share production ideas. And possibly Co-produce stuff. Cheers.

  • Much appreciated!

  • Love This!

  • Thanks, Patty!

  • Albeit I don't understand the whole video it's self, I somewhat feel the insperation hidden within the picture. This is a very very insperational video, thanks.

  • WOW that is a huge compliment- thank you so much!

  • could you tell me the music you used for this video pls

  • It's in the tags- Your Face by Peter Murphy :)

  • Not boring at all! It put me in a very relaxed state of mind, it was like meditating. Thank you for making it!

  • Hi SadieDammit,Good Video & Music Mistical.Niceeeeeeee!From Italy.The Mangia

  • Thank you very much!

  • Did someone mention silence? Because i hear that silence now.

Should anyone be so complacent to rest their fallowed souls. Wake up now... and absorb.

    Silenced.

  • Did someone mention mindblowing comment that read like Thoreau?

Lloyd you've done it again! I don't know what to say. Except I'm thinking about collecting all of your comments and reading them like a novel.

  • Should you do and if you do, i would wish to represent the wreckage from a ship,...idle,...swaying,...listing on an ocean floor.

The swell from the current eroding a story almost lost. Take the residue from its grainy sand and piece together what is left of its 'legacy', its history, its unknowing, lost but for those who braved the depths of the ocean floor. Thank you for your wonder.

  • Good edit! That moved me! hats off to a very creative and talented lady!

  • Why thank you!

  • I recently moved back to the New Orleans area about 6 months ago in order to go back to college. There are major areas around the metro area that look literally like an atomic bomb hit. This would be a fantastic sound track for a local video made here! Keep up the good work Sadie!

  • Thanks, kajun! Wow it must be so sad to witness the wreckage there :(

  • Another excellent video. You have a real good eye for capturing great video footage and it looks like you are pretty darn good with the editing. Enjoyed this much!

  • So glad you enjoyed it- thank you!

  • Very haunting music. I have a friend who might like to try something like this, I'm gonna stick to what I do best though.

  • Well I appreciate the looksee! And of course, to each their own :)

  • Another beautiful video Sadie.

  • Thank you, my friend. Hugs and wellwishes as always :)

  • If they ever invent a way to take a video and make it stand out with some sort of an Honor, this one would qualify as one of the best. Everyone should be able to see it. It should be required before you are allowed to post your own. Congradulations! Well done.

  • Thank you so much!!

Your sentiment is the highest honor to me- what a heartwarming comment!!

  • Great video. Thanks

  • Thank YOU, Pete! Hope all is well in Mississauga :)

  • Absolutely excellent, professional filmography. Sadie I'm highly impressed as I always have been with you. I found this through Samsarajade and this has creative impacts far beyond what is expected on YT. I wish you all the best and I'm proud to be in your circle.

    - John Reagan

  • It's about time you did as you were told! I TOLD you it was a must see video days ago ;) x

  • Yes ma'am :) Every single time you are always correct! I love Sadie, but without you I would never have seen such amazing things.

  • And thank YOU again, sweet lady!

  • John it's wonderful to have you in my circle, and your input means a lot to me as well. Thank you so much for the high praise and the time you took to watch and comment. You are a treasure!

  • As are you Sadie even more so :) Now that I am not suffering from YT burn-out anymore it's my mission to catch up on all your beautiful vids. Love ya!

    - John

  • Wow Saddie...YOu are getting the Wow factor a lot these days....your new name is Saddiewow! You guys always set up proper scenes...with excellent somng selections that work together to take me on a serious journey! Excellent attention to detail! Do you give classes in production....do you? You should offer them Saddie....dammit!

  • LOL give them? I really wish I could TAKE them! Add that to the list of classes I wish I had time for. Thanks Mel, you are always so generous with your comments, a great support. Hugs to you!

  • wonderful video, Sadie

  • Thanks, Effie! Hope all is well in your world :)

  • great video, Sadie

  • Why thank you!

  • *Is depressed now, for some unknown reason*

  • It didn't depress me at all, I've heard one other person say something like that about this film, but I see such beauty in it. It's pretty amazing how everyone sees something different in this film. Maybe the fact mortality is addressed might make some feel depressed?

  • Thanks for pitching in, Tia! <3

Yes it is interesting how differently it affects people. I'm just flattered when it has any effect at all!

  • ...Beautiful...

  • Thank you, Joseph :)

  • Very nice, so moving. It almost made me cry.

  • That's a high compliment- thank you! And the project we talked about it under way, just so ya know. Might be another week before it's finished, though :) Hugs to you and Jacey!

  • Wow!,that was awesome,I can't get enough of you and your Desert..Desert Child..The pulsating heart/video was brilliant, and the Graveyard next to the refinery? was somber indeed.Beautiful work Sadiekin's,I loved it. :)

  • Thanks so much, Bernie :) Yes I felt that was definitely the most somber moment in the video- realy struck me standing there in it.

  • beautiful as always.... very Dammitesque.

  • "Dammitesque"- LOVE IT! Thanks, mah friend!

  • FANTASTIC - Like the music from Pete Murphy of Bauhaus fame. Very 'Peter Gabriel - Real World' style too. Chilling McDonalds bit at the end then fading to the cows in the field. I never eat McDonalds anyway, but after seeing that I certainly wouldn't. Great work.

  • Well I gotta tell you- there's an added bonus in knowing people like Tia- and that's getting to know people like YOU. I want to thank you for giving this a peek, and your wonderful and perceptive comment as well. There are so many videos on YouTube, and I'm truly honored you stopped to give this a peek. THANK YOU is an understatement, but it's all I can offer within the confines of this tiny text box. I really do appreciate it, Mark.

  • Thank You for your Kind Words. I am now also going to buy the CD this track comes from. I just love the emotive power of this track and the video is excellent

  • As always Sadie - Nice Work.

  • Neal- thanks very much! I appreciate you watching and commenting :)

  • Very powerful, and moving. The opened ground, the ladybug, the resting place of deceased humans juxtaposed against a processing plant for deceased dinosaurs (OIL). Your way of expression without the need for words is unmatched. I just knew that was Peter Murphy's voice in the background!

  • Great comment, skibbster! Love your take on the humans/dinosaurs. And it doesn't surprise me one bit that you had Murphy pegged. Thank you!

  • I likey!!!!

  • I'm so glad!!

  • Well one things for sure! I'm glad I subscribed to you Sadie! This is very good you have become a master film maker. Take care :D

  • That means a lot to me, Julian. THANK YOU, sincerely.

I don't know about 'master' but I do get a lot of inspiration from my subscriber's videos :)

  • COOL VIDEO SADIE

  • Thanks, Benj!

  • Excellent video!!! Something very mystic and powerful about it.

  • Thanks, Minnie!

  • That made my head hurt.

  • Aw, sorry!

  • One day, I hope to be able to produce a work as creative and elegant as this one. Thank you Sadie, this video is inspiring and a wonderful piece of art.

  • I'm sure you already have, Michael! Please please teach me chroma key for starters! And thank you for your kind words :)

  • Chroma key is something that I am just beginning to play around with so I myself am still learning. What I do know for starters is that you need an evenly lit background and evenly lit subject without casting shadow on the background. The rest I do with the software I use to edit and generate my videos. I had found a few helpful videos from other YouTube members, just do a search for "chroma key" and you should get a few results that might help.

  • you get better&better..i seemed to like the first half over the 2nd,(when the vocals come in) besides the ladybug and water shots that is..

  • Thanks for the input! I really look up to you in this department so much gratitude for the comment :)

  • Truly beautiful, Sadie ... as that one person said, I could watch this (and probably will) over and over ...

  • Aw thanks! I'm really glad you gave it even one peek :) Hope all is well with you!

  • movies like these define Sadie, a legacy wow, you're a legend. This was so beautiful, it really leaves me breathless, I love your deep side, this conveys so much, I really liked the part with your dog looking out the window and the cows looking in that really spoke volumes to me. Amazing! Love you lots!

  • Aha! I should have known you'd pick up on that shot- you are not one for overlooking the subtle. You know I love you, girl- thank you as always!

  • Beautifully done, Sadie. Im at a loss for words. wow. You are incredibly talented and amazing.

  • Chits mah friend! Really glad you liked it- thanks so much for commenting, too!

  • Pretty damn Sweet! You so rock!

  • Thanks oh big and bad one! Much appreciated :)

  • He spoke he spoke! Yaaaay! Thanks!

  • Hey have I told ytou yet how much I like this video...remarkable simply amazing. I have been making people in my office watch it.

  • It's official. I love you.

  • I'm speacheless, speacheless that you could think that these would come off as boring! That video is simply amazing Sadie and I hope your damn proud of it XD

  • Thank you, Steven! So nice to have you on board :)

  • After viewing this marvelous and touching piece several times, I realize you have the same quality in your video work that you exhibit at Stickam. And that is a "peacefulness" with what ever you do. The message may be very strong but you do it in a peaceful manner. I have noticed at Stickam, that just listening to you produces a "peacefulness" in my mind. You are a special and talented lady. Continued success with your wonderful work and thank you for taking the time to enrich our lives.

  • This comment deserves a much better response than I can write. Whew. I'm nearly textless. All I can say is THANK YOU, and that I hope to see you again there very very soon. I certainly enjoyed your company as well.

  • gorgeous.

The cemetery by the chemical plant.... was the cemetery there before the plant? If so, how RIDICULOUS that the plant would build itself there!!

And if the cemetery is to demonstrate the death that occurs from working at that plant... wow.

  • It's a real cemetery, I can tell you that. I made the assumption that it was there first (I think because of the dates on some of the graves) but I couldn't say without a doubt that it was.

  • beautiful

  • Thank you, Johnie :)

  • That was simply amazing Ms Dammit. I'm speechless. Me! Damn.

  • Miracles never cease! Heehee...

    Thank you, Mr. Strello :)

  • where does the spirit lay? (zoom into the cemetery shot). brilliant. fantastic video, sadie....as always.

  • Perceptive! I'm thrilled you noticed that!

    Thank you :)

  • damn sadie, nicely done, I never knew you were so "artsy-fartsy"...lol This should get high honors at cannes. :-)

  • LOL hey I'll take artsy fartsy if you like it :)

  • Well done, Sadie.

  • Thank you, Carlos :)

  • Wow Sadie-- awesome job on this vid! You rock!

  • Thank you! Hope all is well with you and yours?

  • Nah-- but I'm ok.

  • Oh dear- will contact immediately :(

  • great job

  • Much appreciated, Mr. President :)

  • S a D i E D a M m I t

  • RADdamMiT!!

  • We got married? When did that happen?

Do we get to go to a honey moon together? ;p

  • Heehee we eloped. Only it was so secret that even you didn't know about it. The honeymoon was fantastic, too. Guess I shouldn't have kept THAT much secret.

  • Compelling and beautiful. Well done!

  • Thank you!

  • WOW.

  • Thanks for watching, Sarah!

  • The drumming heartbeat pounding the intensity into my skin! Excellent, excellent! I agree with sneakpreacher above, how bout' that hoagie???

  • Hoagies all around!

    Thank you thank you!

  • I'm commenting again. Which is an exercise in self restraint... because if I commented once for each time I've come back to watch this I'd be at about 10 comments already.

  • Aw Greg you're simply the best ((HUG))

You're working out my grin muscles, big time.

  • I know what you mean! See, here I am again!

  • *Grin muscles explode*

  • Wow. I am very impressed Sadie. Most of your videos are pretty quirky and funny. THIS IS ART! I loved the imagery throughout. Especially, the graveyard sequences. Very well edited. GET YOUR ASS TO A FILM STUDIO AND DO SOMETHING WITH THIS SKILL YOU HAVE! I"ll wait here...go on...c'mon, go...would you GO? I said I"d wait for ya, didn't I? Bring back a hoagie.

  • LOL! Whew high praise! Thanks, sp. And I want you to know that I didn't take a bite out of your hoagie. They made it that way. Yeah. It's like their trademark or something.

  • DAMN YOU, SUBWAY!!!

  • Excellent, Sadie. I won't repeat what all the other comments have said. You have a talent, a gift. Do you need an actor or screenwriter for your next film? Your beautiful soul comes through your work, and thanks for sharing it with us. "Every artist dips her brush in her own soul, and paints her own nature into her pictures."

  • Thank you, Mark! Wish we were closer, as I'd love for you to star in an upcoming project. What a blast that would be!

  • All the world's a stage,

And all the men and women merely players:

    They have their exits and their entrances;

And one man in his time plays many parts . . .

  • Ah, poetic truth. Beautiful!

  • Shakespeare, Sadie, not my words (I wish I were that poetic). Another favorite from the Bard:

"Life's but a walking shadow; a poor player,

That struts and frets his hour upon the stage,

And then is heard no more: it is a tale

Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,

    Signifying nothing." Peace Sadie!

  • Oh yes I know Shakespeare when I read him, believe me. Poetic truth nonetheless :) Don't run into many as well versed as you, though.

  • Your videos have a poetic truth too, and one doesn't come across people as unique as you. I must now go forth and suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune. Peace Sadie!

  • if you haven't been featured yet on the main page of youtube then i would be shocked!!, that was thought provoking stuff sadie :) brilliant! its one thing to live life, its another thing to watch it go by, thats what this video said to me

  • I don't what the criteria is for being featured, but comments like yours are truly the highest reward I can imagine. All that I need! THANK YOU.

  • I wouldn't say this about much of what I see on You Tube, but you have the talent that you ought to be able to be making a living with the work you do. Excellent.

  • Aw thanks, Mike! Your support means a LOT to me. I really do appreciate it. You know I get excited when I see your name pop up in my comment section- every time.

    Seriously- THANK YOU.

  • 5 star. genius you. the heartbeat and color mixed with the music was really interesting and kept my short attention span watching. awesome squared

  • What an amazing comment, Carol- thank you!!

  • Wow, what can I say...great slices of life, absolutely terrific!:) You should be in film, Sadie! If you need a still photographer, call me.;-D

  • The greatest Dane! Thanks for watching and for the kind words as well :) So glad you enjoyed it!

  • SamsaraJade just passed this to me. WOW.

I'm kinda lost for words, it made me feel like the last human on the planet - the end of days.

It also made me feel in touch with the planet - and its pain.

    Beautiful. Thank you.

  • How sweet of her! And of you for taking a look! Thank you! I sure appreciate it. And since you're only one month old here- welcome to YouTube! I hope you have a blast in this crazy place, and don't become toooo terribly addicted (like the rest of us, haha). Nice to meet you!

  • I found the whole thing rather sinister

  • LOL! Yeeees you picked up on the subliminally eeeeevil undertones, no doubt.

  • Yowsa- that's quite a compliment- THANK YOU!

  • very good

  • Thank you :)

  • Sadie that was absolutely brilliant. You never cease to amaze me and definately deserve a bigger audience!! If there was a Youtube Oscar you just won!!

  • Hey what a high compliment!! Thanks most muchly!

  • Slightly too depressive for me but very well edited.

Next thing (maybe the last thing that's left) on your todo list: get a steady hand. ;)

    Dammit, you are SadieCreative!

  • Certainly don't want to depress you. Yes that steady hand is HARD when you're zoomed waaaaay in. Every little jiggle looks like an earthquake. I might invest in a monopod. That should help. Thanks for your input :)

  • All I can say is Thank You Sadie.

  • Thank YOU, Sundarlin.
