  • The ending broke my heart and I started crying cause it was true:(

  • Omg! At The Ending I Started Crying.:'( That Is So Sweet And Nice.:)

    I Really Really Respect Ellen!:D

  • i think ellen is a beautiful person

  • Oh the amount of love in that place was amazing! I wish I had been there.

  • lol im from france. haha yeah right.

  • Ellen is great, only don't like the part she talked about God.

  • @nicolitabologna i know. it offended me. i wanted to skip it but i couldnt find the next one.

  • @nicolitabologna if you can't laugh at one thing you can't laugh at anything

  • "You never know if people really like you or if it's just 'cause you're God"...once you think about it, that's actually quite philosophical...

  • She was maried before she was maried to portia..... hmmm

  • "IT'S GOD!" lol funny but very true to me ;)

  • @meghunshow you aren't going to hell because you are a lesbian... I'm gonna guess and say you are from the south..

  • when she was talking about the walk on the beach, i thought she was referring to when she and her mom were walking on the beach when she told her mom she's gay. lol

on a side note, i love the way the show ended. so sweet how ellen gives the heartwarming woman so much love for pouring her heart out to her. ellen's the greatest! i just love her!

  • "Go home and love yourselves."

    Tee hee

  • "Thank you for coming out"

No, thank YOU for coming out Ellen!

  • THE WAY SHE ENDS THAT. SO MUCH CAPS

  • What is Ellen talking about when she refers to the beach? (:

  • @passeblue google footprints in the sand poem

  • @passeblue htp://llerrah.com/footprints.htm

  • "it's god!" haha, I love that!

  • Could I love her more? She's just so lovely!

  • I was like, touched by an inspiring angel. I cried tears. wow. so so magical.

  • I wonder if the last woman had such short hair from cancer or something and thats why ellen gave her hope and strength... That was so sweet!!! :')

  • @macsdlol

lol no, I think its because Ellen is a positive role model and lesbian so she gives hope that its possible to be queer or different in some other way and not be ashamed of yourself and have a great life.

  • @macsdlol -___-

  • i seriously cried for like 15 minuets after the last women spoke..the first 5 were from laughter but then the other 10 were because it was so sweet

  • i wish that ellen was god then i wouldnt be judged for being a lesbian i would not go to "hell"

  • what a comedic genius

  • I love the ending so much

  • Didnt know Ellen had a wife named ann before portia

  • ellen's gonna be tapping that later

  • I always skipp to 7 to see the girl at the end she made me cry. I love being bisexual. To be honestly the gay and lesbian world is so much nicer than the real.

  • I dont have a long life story but my mom hates ellen because she's a lesbian. She's a anti-gay person. Then theres' me the "out of the ordianry teen" which is common todday. I'm bisexual and i said i liked ellen I always ahve hell last night is aw this at 4:30 am and was sitll laughing. <3

  • Did anybody see Chris rock in disguise behind the girl/boy at the end lolol

  • This is great. I love Ellen...and I love how she can inspire anyone. An amazing woman, she is. :)

  • My Princess talk to me! XD

  • Wow,teared up at the end...

  • I love Ellen but I feel she's sold out soooo much on her talkshow, especially compared to when she was on stage here. Anyone agree?

The celebrity interview part of the show is so shallow and superficial, I feel it goes against all her morals and beliefs.. (at least the ones she held here) - especially when interviewing some real worthless, selfish celebs. Ie. Kardashians?!..

  • Ellen is my God.. <3

  • sir....oh shit mam!! aha that was funny. but soo cute after :) warmed my heart.

  • Oh. I hope it is good to cry a little about this... and be happy at the same time.

  • 23 people are pathetic lowlifes. i feel sorry for them.

ya the end had me to tears. ellen is truly an amazing person!

  • @XmisszombitchX You remember how Ellen said everyone has the right to their own opinions and beliefs? And you remember when Ellen told god she was sorry that call each other names and judge each other?

  • @frostyh81 SUCK A FUCK :D

  • 23 people were never inspired by anything.

  • waaaow she's amazing!!

  • 0:28 is the best thing in the world, ever. EVER. Love you Ellen so so so so much.

  • my dad has 1 of those gore forman lean mean fat reducing grilling machine

  • I'm crying for the ending right now because I have someone very close to me who is gay and I know that she has hit rock bottom and Ellen picked her back up. Beautiful just.. Beautiful :)

  • awwww!!! No cry girl! In ellens defense I would have mistaken her for a boy too... and ellen was one of my role models too, her and lady gaga...

  • I'm a straight woman who has many friends who are gay. The girl that Ellen thought was a man, bought me in tears. I felt her sorrow and her pain. it's cruel becuz... you think of it, you see all these people with illness and disorders that has to work harder than anybody else and sadly, it goes the same with people who are gay. many people will think that being gay is an illness, which forces gay people work harder to have others accept them. So i felt that when she was thanking Ellen.

  • "Talk to me, princess..."

  • @rachel25lee Totally the best part of the whole show :)

  • ImBeautifullyTragicx, yes, yes it is.

  • Aww, the ending makes me emotional. I'm still trying to figure out who I am and its hard but Ellen gives me hope and strength.

  • 6:25 - end: tears

  • Ohhh The Girl Ellen Has Mistaken For A Guy Is Soooo Cute =))

  • The comment of the last woman made me cry. I just wanna say Ellen you are a loving prove that I can find my love of my life and live as a normal person as everyone else. So what if I am GAY?

  • i`m straight and I watch this and honestly the end TOTALLY changed my opinion on people.

  • Ellen you're the MAN!!! (:

  • I haven't even seen the end yet, but it get's me every time. The tears always come, and I DO NOT care. I love that moment. So very very touching.

  • Thank god for showing me Ellen!

  • That woman at the end brings me to tears. I hope that she will fulfill all her dreams because she deserves to be happy. And thank god for Ellen for being such an amazing person.

  • Awe!! Ellen!! You're such a sweet heart!!

  • I started crying at the end too... It's true what she said, Ellen is a real hero. You can't decide whether you're gay or not but you can decide what to do with it and she decided to take the brave route.

  • I was right there with you Emma!! I looooooove Ellen SOOOOOO much!!!!! To stay so positive and not let negativity get her down!! One can only admire that!!

  • I started crying at the end. I respect gay people more then straight people, because the currage it takes to come out is deffinatly worth a standing ovation

  • @emmabotterhuis

It's good that you respect gay people. I do, too.

But, even so, you shouldn't respect straight people any less... It'd be the same thing if somebody said " I respect straight people more than gay people, because they're... .. not.. married to goats..." I DUNNO! But yah, you know what I mean. :P

  • So is God Wanda Sykes?

  • I'm 13 and lesbian. Sure my friend and parents were really cool about my sexuality which I am extremely grateful for

But what REALLY got me through it was people like Ellen

  • @ImJustJayce

I'm 13 and lesbian and I feel the same way. My parents were really cool about my sexuality, so I'm lucky for that, but what really helped me through this was YouTube and all the supportive gays. Gotta love Ellen!

  • the ending was emotional

  • I am 14, and I have been watching ellen forever. My dad told me that he didnt like ellen because shes a lesbian. But I love her, because she gives me strength. She gives me strength and hope that the world one day will have more equality. And that Me, as a Lesbian as well will get basic Human Rights as everybody else. Being Asian and Lesbian in my town isn't exactly easy. But Damn it Ellen gives me hope, and I wake up every morning to watch her.

  • @ImJustJayce Stories like yours and the girl at the end of the video just make me tear up... I'm so glad there is someone like Ellen who so many people can at least count on to give them hope. And I hope all the best for you. Stay strong and know that there's always hope and the world is getting a little bit better slowly but surely all the time. *sends love as much as one can over the internet*

  • @ImJustJayce you can tell your dad to bite me! ;) sorry if that offended you in any way

  • Is that Samantha Ronson?

  • @laughinfree91392

    Or Lucy Ball.

  • ellen degeneres is funny but i didnt find it funny when she started talking about GOD

  • @superstaratshift its ok dont worry because god is fake

  • Comment removed

  • Have you seen GE's hair lately? LOVE <3

  • ahww I love ellen idk if im gay or not but she gives me hope to try to discover who i am i love her shes a wonderful role model

  • I found a little monster JURAKAN she was the last female vampire

  • I was hoping they would kiss...

  • :) awesome. wonderful. Ellen you're a real woman.

  • The end was the best part...the only thing I didn't like was when people kept talking about Ellen and Anne getting married... I thought they were only dating. Every time I hear Ellen and Anne in the same sentence I just think....THANK GOD FOR PORTIA DE ROSSI!!!

  • .... OMG WHAT... why are she crying O.o

  • 7:23 OMG I am a guy but I cried...

  • I love her jokes. They're not just funny jokes, they're also words that have deeper meaning. Just like when Ellen referred to God as a "She"...it sounded funny, but come to think of it, God didn't really have a gender, so let's not be biased, and so Ellen did...first time to hear that though. GOTTA LOVE ELLEN. So funny, intellectual...and just so true.

  • Ellen is the best <3

  • That last girl who spoke in the last few minutes....will never forget that moment and neither will Ellen. Goes to show the strength in rising over unfair adversity...

  • Ellen invented the dance

  • @cosg9531 Oh my- how do you know this?

  • @cosg9531 Who cares?? There are lots of gay people with same feelings and who never stand up and say the same things! They just are in lack of courage or something.. people are mean!

  • That girl who cried looks like a heavy Samantha Ronson! Weird.

  • awh this makes me cry ellen is so wonderful inside and out !

  • About God...the first minute...Ellen, you're really, really scaring me.

  • I love how she tries to cover it! "No, the man behind.. You.. I'm screwed.." lol Ellen you are the most amazing woman that has ever walked this planet.. Well you and God..

  • OMB too funny....love you ellen

  • look at yoouu ...!! how to pronounce your name again ? hahaha elllen i love u ,ur 2 funny

  • That girl who thanks Ellen for coming out at the end has such a contagious cry! it gets me misty every time even though it's not even sad, it's happy!

  • last part was oh God sweeet

  • Well... what can you say about "Ellen" She is a insperation, has so much courage, is tallented, she is so genuine, thoughtful, understanding, brave and so dam funny! She is my one true insperation! Thank you Ellen... you give hope, love and courage to many in the world including me. She is one in a million and continue helping many see there is light at the end of the tunel! Respect. love and peace to you always.x

  • Awwwwweeee!!!! Ellen is my fucking hero!!!!!

  • "yeah, how do you pronounce your name again?" LOL

  • I am a man and damn straight, i mean as straight as it gets, i have never been gay and i will never be. i have been argued with my close friends against gay relationships. abut i would tell you somthing after watching ellen, not only this video but most of her stuffs, i believe that an adult should be allowed to choose for her self, no matter what she is gonna choose rest of the world should not have any busyness with that.

PS. i deep in my heart wish ellen would hve been straight.

  • @lsrgfromsl PS. IT would take a special guy who sincerely understands and respects the beautiful soul that is 'woman', for her to go straight. Not alot of guys can put their male macho pride aside to display a sort of 'feminine sensitivity' for fear of people thinking they are soft. In reality though, it shows the true strength of a 'man'. where key phrase: "strong, silent type" came from, i'm assuming.

  • @lsrgfromsl ...I admire those kind of men and the world would be a much better place if they weren't so rare...(but then again, since they are rare, if a woman finds one or is found by one...it would be like finding "THE HEART OF THE OCEAN" :)

  • @M0v3t0C4n4d4 It troubles me that ppl like u exist! Who educated u!? Who raised u!? NO woman gay or straight is just waiting for some perfect man-we have lives as well yknow and NO MAN can turn a gay woman straight. wtf!!!! What is it bout you tube? I never meet ppl as fucked as u in real life lol ever!

  • @Diazefan i speak only what i know, witnessed,& experienced in my life (not anyone elses). FYI, this is not an education topic. What schools teach a class called "NO MAN can turn a gay woman straight"? Also, what kind of person voices assumptions on the unseen/unexperienced, & firmly talks for every person on earth as if it is a fact? You must have been educated & raised by the walking dead...but atleast you turned out to be a really cold-hearted person :) well done!

  • @M0v3t0C4n4d4 Well sorry but the damage caused to the gay community by the old 'choice' myth bothers me. Also the myth about someone being able to change a persons sexuality is problematic. There's plenty evidence to support this its not just what I think. This kind of thing encourages homophobia and I personally believe most people know this. But ur right in that what I said cant be applicable to each and every case. I was just genuinely appalled by ur comment n got angry sorry!

  • @M0v3t0C4n4d4 I have to disagree though about the 'education topic' You say you speak from your life and experience and I was asking where this experience took place and who influenced it (upbringing and education being your first socialisation experiences) because I couldnt begin to imagine where you got this idea. I dont care now though, I admit I was rude, lets get over it! Sorry again!

  • @lsrgfromsl

Should be allowed to "choose"? This is where you all go so terribly wrong. WHEN did you choose to be straight, please? Do you think we would choose to be hated by religious bigots, beaten to a pulp, murdered, thrown off bridges, and the like?

  • What a cool lady.

  • I watch this video over and over again just for the end...brings me to tears to see how one person can change the lives of so many!

  • It's was so funny when she called that girl a sir, but then it was so sweet! I love Ellen so much!

  • Love her.

  • That was pretty embarassing.. But so sweet at the end! I totally cried..

  • The girl at the end is Heather Caminiti. She was/is a member of the sketch comedy group ITTV: It's Twisted Television. She's pretty funny in her own right.

  • i cried at the end <3

  • I want a hug too ^_^ lol aww

  • "its GOd" haha lol well she is...

  • I'm a guy who never cries at any thing, but that women at the end brought me to tears.

  • the end with the girl made me cry. that was really emotional and Ellen calling her up there was just soo sweet. Ellen is amazing.

  • Uhhh that lesbian was SO HOT lol. And Im a Gay man...damn lesbians being all hot....and stuff...ugh

  • I didn't know Ellen was married twice

  • @AmeliaKC173 She was not officially married until recently. Many gay people just do the rings and say they are married until they actually can get married.

  • the ending part is just tearjerking :(

  • LOL Ellen, epic failure at the end. XD No worries.... people inquire of my gender. XD LOLOL ~♥

  • "Yes you sir, right there"

    "it's ma'am"

    "...no, the man /behind/ you"

  • I think in 100 years evry one gonna be Bi or gay, and its gonna be considering normal, thumbs up if u ever had gay thoughts =)

  • What year was this show? I wanna use Ellen as a case-study for an essay I'm writing, so I need the date for my references! Thanks for uploading!

  • @nicolaratcliff She said that she came out 3 years ago, Imdb says it was 3 years ago, as her show got the axe in 1998, sadly because advertisers would not support a show centred around a gay character, with an openly gay actress in the lead role. Oprah guest starred in the coming out episode, and revealed in her own show that she got an unprecedented level of hate mail, more than she had ever received in her entire career.

I'm not gay, but I find that highly disturbing.

  • @yellowcougar18 I mean the hate mail was disturbing, not being gay. I was a massive homophobe up until I was about 20/21. Now I repent for everything horrible I ever said. It was a good thing that I came to my senses, because a cousin of mine came out as a lesbian a few years ago. Its an adjustment, but it's not a crime. There was alot of civil rights movement made in the 90's, but, like everything, it takes time to breed tolerance.

  • @nicolaratcliff 2000

  • The ending was SO awesome and sweet. I know EXACTLY were that girl is coming from because Ellen is my role model as well. All hail QUEEN ELLEN! lmfao! XD

  • Super! We would like finger sandwiches please!

  • Watching all seven of these was AWESOME! Thankx sprousel0ve for posting THEM!

  • Know that when you are bloated... i am there!

  • God walked in with the tray of fondue and I would say she's about 47, 48 years old... ahahahaha. It's so suprising which makes it funny to me. I'd like to slap the bitch up the ass! Praise Jesus!!!

  • Go to 6:28 this part is so moving.

  • @XEmWorldX I agree! I almost cried!

  • @LadyGM720 i did cry lol

  • Touching!

  • How can people penalise someone for being gay? God is all about unconditional love and how can we speak for God or anything that doesn't speak of unconditional love? Yes I have judgments and opinions, but in the end all that matters is the sincerity and love between people x I am sorry xx

  • Awwww the end made me cry :") I Love Ellen!

  • Ummm... No homo but the lady she called a sir would make such a hot man ... :/

  • @faithb lol i was wondering what you were talking about n den she got to that part hahahaha

  • @faithb True xD

  • amazing!

  • Okay, yeah, the lady at the end really does look like a boy. XD Wowzers; love you, Ellen! XD I just found out about her two days ago, and I already love her. XD Nyehehe, WOOO!

  • AWWWW THE ENDING WAS SO CUTE<33

  • Awww, the ending was so nice.

  • why did the woman say ur wife anne....her and anne were dating but i didnt think they were married then......?

  • and, i'm not gay, but, you change my life too. thank you for you exist. (i'm gay just a little bit :))

  • ...thank you Ellen!!!

  • Ellen has been so instrumental in changing the perception of what it is to be gay. I thank her for that endlessly. Truly a godmother in this struggle.

  • at 2:59 what does it mean when she said i was on your back

  • @BackAtOne1300 :

On your back as in, I was upon your back. Like a piggy-back ride.

She even says "I thought i felt heavy".

  • @BackAtOne1300

The whole bit is a reference to a poem. Google "walking on the beach footprints"

  • Great stand up - thanks for uploading! What's the song at the end called?

  • have you seen gloria estifans hair lately?

  • The ending was stunning!

  • thnx so much for uploading this!

  • Thankyou for rating my comment up , :} its nice to know people agree with my statement

  • aww, how come everyone laughed at that little asian lady from france? :(
