Well They Are Kids And I Don't Blame Them But.....Some Of Them Have Trouble Yelling Out "Ki" But Like I Said I Dont Blame Them (I Started When I Was About 6 And I Was Already Brown Belt At Age 10
@j0hnnyh1 4yrs to get brown? what style you study or did study? My sensei's boy all started at 4yrs old now the 10 yr old he only gained his brown belt this year, the 12 yr old gained black belt at 11.5 -. (wado ryu style in england)
@evilslore87 The Style I studied was I think umm.... Tai Kwan Do, Karate, And Judo, cause ive been travling alot with my father now im about to do Kung fu :D and im only 18
@j0hnnyh1 that is great, keep up the good work, studying more than one form of martial arts is always a good thing, I started to late in life i think to try to study more than one form of martial arts hehe.
I will start my future children off in martial arts as soon as their maturity and age will allow. I hope their teacher(s) are as great as you guys! I've seen some that don't engage well with the children which isn't very proactive imo.
4 or any age for that matter is a great age to start. Many people feel that it is dangerous, but if you experience it, you realize that with Martial Arts taught correctly, kids really learn how to not fight along with many other priceless life lessons.
the problems of children aged 4-5 years who do not control their emotions when they are angry against their fellow school or in everyday life have to hit aggressively steward. For some children this age lack of reference.
Why he has the right to do this in a dojo and not elsewhere ..
This provides a mental confusion to a child of 4-5 years, that's why it's dangerous.
I am not a child psychiatrist.
You are in a better position to offer the well-being of children and to answer your question.

@TeukTnotChou That's where the principals come into play. Don't underestimate children, they aren't as clueless as adults like to believe! ;)

@TeukTnotChou asian children learn it younger than 4. Its not dangerous if their taught correct and have a great sensei.
