G27 is supposed to be a slight improvement.

@hyogen82 yeah, you can definitely tell its a G25, G25 had the option to switch from H pattern to sequential (notice the nob just above the shifter) while a g27 is ONLY a H pattern which blows. Only thing good about g27 is that it's quieter when steering.

I'm not sure about this. i've been to a driving school and they teach you to keep your hands on the steering wheel when going through hairpin turns. It's actually faster than the crossover method and safer.

The steering wheel can easily slip through your hands and you could easily lose control. Your arms can get tripped up by crossing over and not gripping/timing perfectly. So it's safer to keep both hands at 3 and 9 oclock through the entire motion even though your arms twist

900 degree steering is supported, but having it is like a handicapped vs. the controller, your gonna sweat a lot doing steering and counter steering especially in drift trial, the analog is even more responsive. imo they need to increase the responsiveness for steering wheel.

man easy on the shifter...if u wanna change gear quick an hard without lowerin the life of it..mod it like i did for a more resistant shifter...der r plenty of videos here showin how to mod..the best one the one i folowed was from chillicoke...also got a e-brake from a honda s2000 an conected it up an stuff...but ye for now on easy on da shifter mate other ways won't last..

is using a steering wheel more difficult than using a controller? i ask because my logitech driving force wheel is rediculously hard to use on the GT5 demo, the difficulty is on Pro but im much better with with a pad, it took me 2:50 to do the indy track! i think it might be brocken as i dont think the force feedback works, that is where the steering wheel jolts about isnt it? anyway i just wanted some advice so i know wether its my wheel, or me that sucks ass. thanks.

hey the dfp (drving force pro) has two force feedback settings on it.. you could just be on a weaker feedback setting. also, the force feedback on that wheel isnt quite that strong. but as for if the wheel is harder or not, it depends, if you get good with it you can make precision actions and it is always simply more fun.

GT5 prologue on PS3 -

you have to press down on the D-pad after the race has started (without pressing anything else) to turn on the Manual Clutch mode.

this way you can revmatch/heel toe, etc.

From what I hear it only works for Need for Speed Most Wanted and Forza, PGR3 and GT5 and a couple others.

the logitech g25 wheel isnt even on the xbox, so forza and pgr3 won't work with it. Microsoft's wheel would be the fanatec wheels. but personally, i think logitech's wheels are way better in certain ways

It will still shift without putting in the clutch.

If u play like nascar 2003 u do it 3 times or do it at high speed u will hear the gears grind in that game lol
