ferrets are like cats, they fight with a large burst of nervous energy, dogs are pack animals and depend on endurance to run down and ware out their prey.....thus the longer the battle the more likely the dog "wins". being of roughly even weight you can't say who is "stronger"....they are very different animals. Best I can say is the ferret is "stronger" over the short run and the dog over the long run....
