Little country girl! Overall this was good. Get behind your notes a little more really go for the “belty” parts. I really hate saying this, but maybe if you didn’t dance around so much, the energy would be focused on carrying the notes. This is a cute video, but I am more concerned with vocals. If I gauge you from your earlier videos, I feel like you are losing “Brooklyn”. Stay true to your interpretations of songs.

@ceozceo Hi Brooklyn, it seems to me that you didn’t understand my comments, hence the “huh”. It wasn’t a matter if I liked your song or not, I did like it, but I was trying to give you some constructive criticism to improve. When I mentioned focusing your energy I meant that I understand that when a performer is dancing and singing breathing can become an issue and take away from the vocals. For example...

(cont.) ..., it seemed as the progressed, you weren’t able to carry your notes out like you did in the beginning. : When I said “I felt like you are losing ‘Brooklyn’ “, my feeling is that your Round 1 & 2 videos were your strongest performance because they were unique, they stood out, and there was an emotional connection, which is THE most important thing. And even though I think that this video is cute, it doesn’t connect to me through your interpretation.

I will be more lenient on someone that has a mediocre video with strong vocals verses someone that has a strong video and mediocre vocals. No one can do a perfect performance in one take, what you’ve done so far is very good… The reason I give you criticism is because I want to see you improve as an artist.

Really good entry. Full package as far as outfit, performance ,and vocals. You could have pushed a little bit and gotten more grit in your voice, but even without grit it sounded pretty darn good. I could envision you standing on stage in front of a paying audience singing this.
