"Chemmeen" was a great novel by Thakazi and it received all the accolades. But the other great novel by the same author, "Enippadikal" did not capture the imagination of people. The movie version of this beautiful novel, directed by Thoppil Bhasi will remain only as a footnote in the Mlm movie annals! Madhu was the hero (Keshava Pillai - hence the song "Yahi Madhava .."), Sheela was his wife (Karthyani Amma) and Sharada (the other woman!). Madhuri's rendering of this Jayadeva kriti was superb!
I am looking for another great song 'gandharva nagarangal alankarikkaan pookum indukale sakhi indu kale...nin theerodum veedhiyilundoru parna kuteeram ekantha parna kuteeram...from the film nakhangal. Great if someone who has it uploads it. It's vayalaar devarajan at their best!
